The final day of the 2025 US Open is here, and the standout match, as always, is the men's singles final on Arthur Ashe.
It's the final that everybody expected at the beginning of the tournament – Jannik Sinner vs Carlos Alcaraz. The duo have now faced off in three consecutive Grand Slam finals, and they are heads and shoulders above everyone else on the ATP Tour.
Will the flair and genius of Alcaraz triumph over the robotic, machine-like Sinner? We've put together a bet builder for the final, which you can check out below.

Carlos Alcaraz to win (11/10)
There really isn't a lot to split these two players, but Carlos Alcaraz has seemingly ironed out his concentration lapses, which forced him to play more sets than Jannik Sinner in the build-up to the Wimbledon final. Alcaraz has yet to drop a set at the US Open, while Sinner has dropped two.
While this isn't overly significant on the face of it, in a match of extremely fine margins, less time on court could be of huge benefit for Alcaraz as he comes into it with fewer doubts about the current level of his tennis and fewer miles in the legs.
The pair have met seven times on an outdoor hard court. Alcaraz has won five, and Sinner has won two. Their most recent meeting came at Cincinnati last month, and Alcaraz was 5-0 up in the first set before Sinner retired. The Italian was deemed okay to play at the US Open six days later, which raises questions about the legitimacy of the retirement.
For me, all signs point towards an Alcaraz win, so at 11/10, I'm gobbling it up.
Over 40.5 games (4/5)
Clashes between Alcaraz and Sinner are rarely over quickly, with the exception of the recent Cincinnati final. Only one of the last six completed matches between the pair has been completed in straight sets.
Looking at their two Grand Slam finals this year, a total of 59 games were played at the French Open final, and a total of 40 were played at Wimbledon. If you average that out, you get to a figure of 49.5 games, which blitzes this figure out of the water.
The reason I'd take over 40.5 games over five sets is because it is entirely possible for 41 or more games to be played in a four set match. One tie-break in any of the hypothetical four sets means this figure would almost certainly be met unless one of them blitzes through one of the sets.
There have been a total of six tie breaks across the last four completed matches between Alcaraz and Sinner.
Jannik Sinner under 8.5 aces (6/5)
Alcaraz is considered the better server of the two, at least in terms of ace percentage. Sinner's serve is hardly bad, but given Alcaraz's returning skills, it's difficult to imagine the Spaniard not getting his racket on nine of Sinner's serves today.
For reference, Sinner served exactly eight aces in the Wimbledon final, and it's typically easier to hit an ace on a grass court than it is on a hard court. Over the past two weeks, Sinner has averaged fewer than six aces per match, and while this is skewed by the fact that his matches aren't as long as others', he has never hit more than eight aces in a match against Alcaraz.
