Tennis Prediction and Betting Tips 2024

Today's tennis betting tips feature two interesting matches where we’re going to back the over market. Both of these matchups feature players who generally play rather well behind their serve. With the conditions slowed down, it is harder to exert pressure on the serve, so that’s why we’re predicting a couple of longer matches this Tuesday.

Best tennis tips and predictions today

In our first betting tip, we have Frances Tiafoe taking on Roman Safiullin, while in the other, we have Alexei Popyrin playing against Grigor Dimitrov.

Tiafoe vs Safiullin over 20.5 games @ 5/6

What makes this bet so compelling and one of the best bets for Tuesday is simply the fact that Tiafoe has become rather serious behind his serve. He’s not dropping his serve as often as he did, and that makes him a really tough player to play.

Safiullin has generally been known as a very strong player behind his serve as it’s powerful and he doesn’t complicate things. It’s very boom-boom tennis, and it works well. He’s played some of his best tennis in China, so he’s rather familiar with the conditions.

Both have won a match so far at the event, so they won’t be coming into this match cold, and generally, it’s going to be a rather close matchup.

Whoever drops their serve knows that they are going to be in trouble. The conditions are rather slow, so many short balls will come from the other side.

Finishing off points shouldn’t be hard, and both are rather solid at the net as well. Overall, there won’t be much pressure coming from the returns, and the overs seem like a very likely outcome.

Popyrin vs Dimitrov over 22.5 games @ 5/6

This one features a slightly larger line, but overall we still think it’s very likely. Unlike the first one, we have had matches between these two in the past. They’ve played three times so far, and each time it was a very close match.

Two of the three ended in a three-set finish, while the other one simply didn’t because one of the players retired. They’ve played a tiebreak in each of their matches, and that’s 13 games alone.

One tiebreak and we only need a simple 6-4 set to cover the line. We wouldn’t be shocked to see two tiebreaks. It’s a slow court, the ball bounces high, and it’s very tough to get it in after a good serve.

Both have massively good serves and have played super well lately as well, so we’re getting two players in form who won’t have much pressure coming from the other side.

The over is the most logical outcome, so we selected it as part of our best tennis betting tips for Tuesday.
