Derek McInnes got his reign as Hearts boss off to a decent start on Saturday and will be looking to make it two wins from two in the League Cup group stage against Hamilton tonight.
The Jambos beat Championship side Dunfermline 4-1 at Tynecastle in their opener, although that scoreline flattered them as the Pars were well in the game before conceding three times in the last 15 minutes.
McInnes now takes his side to Broadwood to face Accies and it would be a major shock if they slipped up against crisis club Hamilton.
Hamilton Academical vs Heart of Midlothian top betting tips
Accies were relegated from the Championship last term after copping a points deduction for financial problems. It says everything about the chaos at the club that they're now playing at Broadwood instead of their own stadium in Hamilton.
Manager John Rankin has lost some key players during the summer but still managed to steer Accies to a 2-0 win at Stirling Albion in their Group E opener.
Hearts are a big step up in class though and BoyleSports make the Premiership side 3/1o favourites. It's hard finding value but backing the Jambos at -1 in the handicap looks decent at 20/21.
Despite not playing particularly well on Saturday, McInnes' side still managed to score four times. That shows how much attacking talent they have, so over 2.5 Hearts goals also looks good at 11/8.
Forfar Athletic vs St Mirren
We saw a few shocks on the opening weekend and St Mirren let me down in Arbroath after I had tipped them to win comfortably against Championship opposition.
I thought the Buddies would grab a few goals after impressing in their pre-season friendlies but Stephen Robinson's men couldn't even muster a single shot on target.
The Paisley boss will demand a response tonight in Forfar and St Mirren should offer more of a threat against a side who finished second bottom of League Two last season.
Backing the Buddies to be winning at half-time and full-time looks decent value at 20/23 with BoyleSports while they are 7/4 to win both halves.
Motherwell vs Peterhead
Motherwell were another Premiership side who struggled in their opener, drawing 2-2 away from home against League Two Clyde.
That wasn't how new boss Jens Berthel Askou wanted to kick off his reign but he should grab a first win back on home turf against Peterhead.
The plastic pitch on Saturday may have been a factor in Well's struggles and playing the kind of football Askou wants will be easier on the grass at Fir Park.
League One Peterhead conceded four times in their opener at home to Morton so going for goals looks the best option tonight.
Over 3.5 match goals looks worth a punt at evens with BoyleSports while over 1.5 first-half strikes is the same price.
