The next round of UEFA Champions League qualifiers starts tonight and there's some decent ties for punters with plenty of the minnows already eliminated.

Bodo/Glimt were the media darlings of last season's tournament but they face a tough task tonight away to Union Saint-Gilloise.

The Belgians also reached the league phase last term and while they failed to march on in the knockouts like Bodo/Glimt, they will be looking to return to the top table.

Union Saint-Gilloise vs Bodo/Glimt

Norway's top flight is already well underway and that could give Bodo/Glimt the edge over two legs, especially as they're on a run of five successive wins.

Union Saint-Gilloise have yet to get their domestic campaign up and running so that's why Bet365 make Bodo/Glimt 4/5 favourites to qualify.

A win on the night in Belgium offers more value at 21/10 but it's probably safer betting on goals at both ends.

Kjetil Knutsen's men have been keeping plenty of clean sheets domestically but this is a big step up in class so I fancy BTTS and over 2.5 goals at 9/10.

That's not great value but the odds are better in the corner markets and backing Bodo/Glimt for over 4.5 flag kicks pays 6/5.

Sparta Prague vs Lyon

Lyon haven't graced the Champions League for the last seven years and face a tough third-round qualifier against Sparta Prague as they look to end that absence.

Having flirted with relegation to Ligue 2 due to massive financial problems, Lyon appear to be back on the up under new ownership.

They finished fourth in the top flight last term and Paulo Fonseca has them playing some decent football but Sparta Prague won't be pushovers.

The Czech side reached the group phase of the Champions League two seasons ago and made it to the last 16 in the Conference League last term before bowing out to AZ Alkmaar.

Lyon should come out on top over two legs and are heavy favourites to do so. But if you fancy them for a win on the night in Prague, the odds are decent at 11/10.

This first leg should be tight though and the half-time draw looks like the best option at 5/4 with Bet365.

Olympiacos vs NEC

Greek giants Olympiacos have impressed in Europe over the last three seasons and are heavy favourites to see off Dutch side NEC in Champions League qualifying.

Conference League winners in 2024, Olympiacos followed that up with a decent Europa League run before reaching the last 32 in the Champions League last term.

NEC's European pedigree is nowhere near as impressive and they've only played 16 games across their entire history, winning four.

So it's easy to see why Bet365 make the team from Nijmegen 9/2 outsiders tonight, with the home side 1/2 jollies.

Backing the Greeks to be winning at half-time and full-time boosts the odds to 5/4 and that looks decent value, even though it's their first competitive game of the new season.

The hostile crowd could spook NEC a bit and I like the 9/5 on offer for over 2.5 Olympiacos goals.
