Wednesday’s football tips: Try a Fenerbahce bet at 11/10 as they duel Sturm Graz in Europe

There's a cracking Champions League qualifier tonight as Sturm Graz face a test of nerve against Fenerbahce in Istanbul.

The Austrians thrashed Hearts 6-0 on aggregate in the last round but the Turkish giants represent a big step up in class.

Fenerbahce only just squeezed past Gornik Zabre 2-1 on aggregate but that run out will have done them good and they will be looking to build up a healthy lead at home.

Fenerbahce vs Sturm Graz top betting tips

Sturm Graz were deadly against Hearts when chances presented themselves but the Scottish side also asked plenty of questions of their defence.

Fenerbahce have much more quality in their attack so they could get a bit of joy at home in front of a frenzied support.

Bet365 price the Turks at just 4/11 for a first-leg win but backing them to be winning at half-time and full-time boosts the odds to a decent 20/21.

Brazilian forward Talisca netted both of Fenerbahce's goals against Gornik Zabre and could be worth backing for another goal once that market is available.

I fancy the Turks to score a few in this game and backing them to net in each half pays 11/10 at Bet365.

AGF Aarhus vs Sabah

Sabah are looking to make history by blazing a trial to the Champions League group stage less than a decade after the club was formed.

But the bookies are banking on their adventure ending in the third qualifying round against surprise Danish champions AGF Aarhus.

The team from Azerbaijan only started playing in 2017 but they won their domestic title for the first time last term and have already seen off The New Saints and KuPS in Champions League qualifying.

Aarhus should present a much tougher hurdle and the Danes are just 4/9 to reach the next round, with Sabah 13/8 in the same market.

AGF will be looking to put this tie to bed in the home leg so I'm going to back them at -1 in the handicap, which pays a tidy 6/4 with Bet365.

Ferencvaros vs Gornik Zabre

There's also a tasty Europa League qualifier for punters to sink their teeth into tonight as Gornik Zabre head to Hungary to take on Ferencvaros.

The Poles gave Fenerbahce a fright in Champions League qualifying and will fancy their chances after dropping down in the second-tier competition.

But Ferencvaros have already seen off Vojvodina and FC Twente and Bet365 make them 4/7 hot favourites to reach the play-off round.

A win on the night at home is only a little bigger at 4/6 but adding on over 1.5 goals takes you to just above evens at Bet365.

Both legs of Gornik Zabre's clash with Fenerbahce hit double figures for corners and the average was 13.5.

That makes over 10 corners a decent option tonight and it pays 6/5 at Bet365.
