Tuesdays top tips 4

The UEFA Champions League swings back into action tonight and Liverpool put their perfect record on the line when in-form Lille come to Anfield.

Arne Slot's side have won all six games so far in a hugely impressive Champions League campaign, including a comprehensive defeat of European champions Real Madrid.

To guarantee a place in the last 16 they just need to avoid defeat against Lille but the French side head to Anfield with their tails up after going 21 games without defeat in all competitions.

They have also beaten Real Madrid in this season's competition, adding the scalp of Atletico for good measure, so Liverpool will need to be at their best to claim another victory.

Liverpool vs Lille top betting tips

Anfield is one of the toughest venues to visit on a big European night but Lille still look a little overpriced at 17/2 with BoyleSports given they are on such an impressive run.

It takes a brave punter to bet against Liverpool at home but Lille's odds are so long that they offer good value in the handicaps. Backing the French side at +2 in that market pays evens and that looks worth a punt.

Slot's side have been good value for corners in recent weeks, winning eight or more in their last three outings. They racked up 15 at Brentford on Saturday so over 10.5 match corners looks good tonight at 5/4.

Darwin Nunez's match-winning double on Saturday should earn him a start and the 5/4 on offer at Bet365 for him to have over 1.5 efforts on target looks good if the Uruguayan gets the nod.

Monaco vs Aston Villa top betting tips

There's another France v England showdown in Monaco as Aston Villa pitch up in the principality looking to take a big step towards the last 16.

Villa have impressed on their return to Europe's top table and already have a place in the knockout stages secured after banking 13 points.

That has them sitting in fifth place so a victory tonight could secure passage to the last 16 ahead of their Battle of Britain with Celtic in the final game.

It might be a good time to face Monaco, with the Ligue 1 side winning just two of their last 11 games after a flying start to the season.

Unai Emery's men are 7/4 for the win but it's probably safer going for the half-time draw at 23/20 in what should be a tight game, with Monaco only three points behind Villa in the table.

Monaco's last home game in Europe was fiery, with a red and seven yellows flashed in their 3-2 loss to Benfica. That makes over 52.5 booking points worth a look tonight at 5/4 with Betfred.

Atletico Madrid vs Bayer Leverkusen top betting tips

Two of Europe's form teams collide at the Wanda Metropolitano tonight as Atletico Madrid host Bayer Leverkusen in what should be a cracker.

Diego Simeone's side had won 15 in a row in all competitions before seeing that run come to an end with a shock 1-0 loss to Leganes on Saturday.

They will be desperate to bounce back with a Champions League win tonight but it won't be easy against a Leverkusen side who are starting to hit the heights they scaled last season.

Xabi Alonso's men made it 11 wins in a row by beating Monchengladbach at the weekend and haven't lost since Liverpool beat them at Anfield in early November.

This should be a close game and I like the half-time draw at evens while combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals also appeals at 13/10.

For a long-odds option, backing midfield enforcers Rodrigo De Paul and Robert Andrich to go into the book pays 11/1 with Bet365.
