View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Thursday which features two both teams to score tips and two sides to score 2+ goals.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Hammarby to Score 2+
Two sides who’ve had contrasting starts to the season meet at the Storra Valla, as Degerfors host Hammarby.
The hosts who survived their first season back in the Swedish top-flight last season with a 13th-placed finish have so far struggled this campaign, losing each of their opening three matches.
In contrast, Martí Cifuentes’s visitors have made a perfect start to the season, winning each of their opening three fixtures.
The visitors have scored nine times in their opening three matches and look a good bet to score another brace against a Degerfors side that’s conceded seven goals already this season.
Malmö to Score 2+
Malmö will look to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, as they take on Värnamo at their Finnvedsvallen base.
Last season’s champions have took seven points from a possible nine to begin the season and come into this off the back of a 3-0 victory over last season’s runners-up AIK.
Last season’s Superettan champions Värnamo have so far struggled at the start of the season, taking just one point from their opening three fixtures.
The hosts were thumped 4-1 away to Elfsborg and given the visitors have made a solid start to the season, they should have far too much firepower for their newly-promoted hosts.
Levante vs Sevilla – Both Teams to Score
Two sides needing points for very different reasons meet at the Ciutat de València, as relegation-threatened Levante host Champions League chasing Sevilla.
Levante bounced back from their agonising defeat at home to Barcelona by winning 1-4 away to relegation-rivals Granada, leaving them just six points adrift of safety.
Despite racing into an early two-goal lead, Sevilla lost for the second time in their last three matches, as they lost 2-3 at home to champions-elect Real Madrid, but remain just one point behind second-placed Atlético Madrid.
Alessio Lisci’s hosts have found the back of the net in each of their last 10 La Liga matches, as well as scoring on multiple occasions in six of their last eight at home but given they posses the leagues leakiest defence, there’s a good chance we’ll see both sides net here in Valencia.
Porto vs Sporting CP – Both Teams to Score
Two of the ‘Big Three’ in Portugal go head to head for a place in the Taça de Portugal final, as Porto host Sporting CP at the Estádio do Dragão.
Sérgio Conceição’s side come into this off the back of a 7-0 victory over Portimonense, meaning they need just one more victory to secure the league title, whilst the reigning champions come into this losing 0-2 at home to Lisbon rivals Benfica.
These two sides rarely fail to find the back of the net domestically, with the Dragões scoring in all 30 of their league fixtures, scoring 79 goals, whilst that 0-2 defeat to Benfica at the weekend was the first time Rúben Amorim’s side have fired a blank.
Porto won the first leg 1-2 in Lisbon so Sporting will need to go for it at some point and given both sides have scored in their three previous meetings this season, I’m happy to back a repeat here at the Dragão on Thursday evening.
