SMALL card tonight with only cup games in France and Spain to focus on along with the Man City vs Burton in the League Cup semi-final. It's France I head to though in search of goals.
Monaco vs Rennes (7.45pm)
It's been a horrible season for Monaco and at home they have been diabolical with just one win in their last 14. They can forget about the league tonight and can look to progressing in the league cup as they host Rennes.
The visitors are in great shape having won 5 of their last 6 scoring exactly 2 goals in each of those 6 games. They'll have no fears about coming here against a Monaco side in dire straits.
Would expect Rennes to score and as poor as Monaco have been they usually score at home.
The last 11 meetings have all gone over 1.5 goals and I'm taking that to happen again this evening.
Bordeaux vs Le Havre (8.05pm)
Ligue 1 Bordeaux welcome second tier Le Havre in this cup match and Le Havre are a team I know plenty about through my following of Ligue 2.
Incredibly they have the opportunity to knock Bordeaux out of another cup for the second time in 4 days having came here and defeated them 1-0 to seal their place in the last 16 of the French Cup.
They are in good shape and will fancy their chances of a second upset but the hosts will be out for revenge and we should see at least 2 goals here at decent odds
More than enough quality on show to expect 2 goals in each game.
Recommended Bet:
- Over 1.5 match goals double
- 9/10 (Winner) (NAP)
