Today's Super Sunday match come from St James' Park where the battle for a top four finish and a place in the Champions League takes centre stage.
The match is repeat of the League Cup final in which Manchester United claimed the season's first piece of silverware with a 2-0 win. I’m not overly confident with tonight’s Joshua v Franklin fight so I’m going to place a small bet on the fight to go the distance (around 7/2).
Joshua is coming in heavy, whilst Franklin is coming in light. I’m expecting Franklin to use his lighter weight and movement to get through the first few rounds and in return should be good stead for the long-haul.

I am a family member of a member of this forum who goes by the name Elvis Parsley. “Elvis” has a severe gambling addiction and is destroying his life and has family’s. He is gambling over £100 every single day, it doesn’t take a genius to work out that is about £3000 a month £40000 a year. He starts on dog racing in the mornings then horse racing then football for the remainder of the evening. He has never had a day off gambling for over 20 years now, it is constant, his only concern is gambling, he works as a postman often doing overtime just to fund his addiction.
I have emailed MFT several times asking them to ban him from the site but I have never had one single reply back. He is addicted to this site in a big way as you will all know, he is either on here ( the football thread) or on the horse racing site. You will usually find at least 6 bets a day on the racing page and usually 2 or 3 on the football page. But what you guys don’t see is the many many other bets he has and doesn’t show on here. He has a scratchcard addiction, he plays every lottery going, he will literally bet on anything. His mental health is suffering in a bad way as you would expect from someone gambling every day and night.
I beg people on here to stop encouraging him on here for the sake of his family. He is close to losing everyone and everything he has worked for all of his life.

Sorry to hear that, guessed things weren’t great as noticed his habits and also form not as it used to be,I used to gamble alot but COVID unlike others was my saviour,I literally saved thousands and now just gamble peanuts compared to what I used to gamble,hope he gets the help he needs 👍
Thankyou, kind words. We all love him to bits but we have just had enough. He is probably never going yo speak to me again gor doing this but I don’t care. One day he will see why we had to resort to this. I would do anything to help him. You all csn probably tell he comes across as one of the good guys in life and he really is but this gambling has to stop.
I was addicted to those gaming machines myself back in the day I’d put £100 on a spin on the roulette. I got help though eventually, it was my friends and family who saved me from it. It destroyed my mental health and actually my physical health as it was causing trouble on my heart.
Sad to hear this, I think most people who gamble regularly have dark days at some point hope he gets the help he needs as it’s just not worth it.
I don’t know what his disposable income is but betting £100 a day isn’t a disaster (to me anyway) unless he is losing every day and having to top up his betting accounts then that is a real problem.
Sadly I don’t think anyone manages the emails as I am still waiting for a reply from last year so don’t hold your breath, although banning him from this site won’t make much difference its his betting accounts that he needs to self exclude from , best of luck.
Longshot but if he is anywhere near Glasgow and needs help,he can come chap my door anytime and listen to my story and how recovery can be achieved. I’ve been there in the darkest corners of addiction with gambling and spent time in rehab for substance abuse. probably like most folk that gamble i bet every day of my life 56 years old and have done since i was 12 or 13 as was a runner for the local bookies round the factories at school lunchtimes, guys then couldn’t just nip away from work or bet on a mobile fone, i did give it up for many years when the kids were wee and cash was short and only did a wee acca on a saturday, the way i work is to have a monthly betting pot set a daily limit and don’t go over it, i will admit to loosing my pot on a number of occasions which is sore to take as is 4 figures……….. but its my hobby, my money and fortunately can afford it, its just unfortunate that some people can’t control their gambling like others do with drink or drugs…………… onwards
