THE Premier League action isn’t very exciting on so-called Super Sunday so the game of the day is at Hampden with Rangers and Hearts facing off in the League Cup semi-final.

If anyone wonders why Man Utd Arsenal etc etc can’t compete with City then watch City’s highlights from yesterdays game. Doku absolutely ran the game and look at the price City paid for him. City and Liverpool’s recruitment is second to none, whilst Arsenal are paying 100 million for Declan Rice and United are paying millions for Casemiro that’s the difference.

Completely agree macca that nobody can challenge city, arsenal did a decent job last year but were always going to fall short. Man United so far behind I wouldn’t even mention them. Not exactly sure why you mention Liverpool. I know they have challenged them in the past but have regressed massively in the last 18 months, largely due to their recruitment, which was peerless, but has been pretty average recently in trying to replace key players.
Liverpool’s recruitment has been average recently, iI thought Klopp had made some stellar signings, early days but they look good to me.
Last seasons performances across all competitions suggested quite a large drop off for me. Nunes, jota and gakpo don’t seem to be near the levels of mane and firmino(granted they were exceptional levels) but they’re your team so you’ll see more of them. I’ll take your word mate 👍
Fully agree was a big drop off last season can’t argue with that, Nunez is coming good now and his stats back that up especially when they beat Newcastle away in which they were 1 nil down with ten men.

Just wanted to give people the heads up that it’s worthwhile making an official complaint to William Hill if you’re struggling with their awful customer service team.
Three weekends in a row they’ve incorrectly settled a bet and I’ve had to chase on a live chat. Yesterday their rep acknowledged that the bet had been incorrectly settled but refused to have the bet paid out because “one of the legs lost”, (spoiler they didn’t). He couldn’t get his head around the only leg that ‘lost’ being the one that had been incorrectly settled.
Disconnected when I was offered a £15 free bet on the basis “that I used it to learn how such markets work”…
Anyway, official complaint made through resolver and within 4 hours the bet gets paid in full and I’m given a £50 free bet as an apology.
