Falkenberg FF to Score 2+ (Sunday, 12:00)
Two clubs at opposite ends of the Swedish Superettan table meet at NP3 Arena at lunchtime on Sunday as rock-bottom Sundsvall entertain third-placed Falkenberg.
Christoffer Andersson’s visitors are the second-highest scorers in the Superettan this term, firing in 30 goals across their opening 15 matches, with a league-high 19 (63%) of them coming on their travels.
Only current leaders Varberg have prevented FFF from getting on the scoresheet this season, with the hosts scoring on multiple occasions 10 (67%) times – including in seven of their last eight matches.
In fact, Falkenberg have scored 2+ goals in all seven (100%) of their away fixtures in the Swedish second tier this term – even scoring 3+ in three of their past four – and that trend looks likely to continue against their leaky hosts.
Sundsvall boast the division’s joint-worst defence, conceding 34 goals across their opening 15 Superettan clashes this campaign, shipping 2+ goals in 10 (67%) of them – including in 7/8 (88%) of them on home soil.
Sirius to Score 2+ (Sunday, 13:00)
Surprise runaway Allsvenskan leaders Sirius welcome struggling Göteborg to the Studenternas IP on Sunday afternoon in a fixture that I’m keen to back the free-scoring hosts to strike at least twice.
Sirius are the leading scorers in the Allsvenskan so far this season, firing in 36 goals across their opening 13 matches, with 17 (47%) of them coming on home soil.
Andreas Engelmark’s hosts have remarkably scored 2+ goals in all 13 (100%) of their league outings this season – even scoring 3+ in eight (62%) of them – and look well-equipped to keep that extraordinary goal-scoring record continuing against a Göteborg defence that has yet to keep a clean sheet this season, shipping 29 goals, with 16 of those coming across their last four road trips.
Sogndal to Score 2+ (Sunday, 16:00)
Sogndal will look to distance themselves from the relegation places in the Norwegian OBOS-ligaen table as they welcome mid-table Ranheim to the Fosshaugane Campus on Sunday afternoon.
Despite their struggles, Sogndal have scored 25 goals across their opening 14 matches in the Norwegian second tier, with 15 (60%) of those coming across their last five on home soil.
Luis Pimenta’s hosts have struck on multiple occasions in eight of their last 11 league outings – including in each of their previous five on home soil – and that trend has every chance of continuing against a leaky Ranheim backline.
Christian Eggen Rismark’s visitors have conceded an alarming 20 goals across their opening six away matches this season, shipping 2+ in all six (100%).
Fram to Score 2+ (Sunday, 20:15)
Two clubs at opposite ends of the Icelandic Besta deild karla table meet at the Lambhagavollur on Sunday evening as third-placed Fram entertain second-from-bottom FH.
Fram have scored 24 goals across their seven home fixtures this season, scoring 3+ goals in six (83%) of them – only failing to do so against runaway league leaders Víkingur – and they look well-equipped to continue that trend against a FH backline that is far from watertight on their travels.
The Hafnarfjordur-based outfit is yet to keep a clean sheet on their travels this campaign, conceding 20 goals, shipping multiple goals in five of their last six.
