It's a big day for Everton as they play their first competitive game in the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Brighton looking to play the role of party poopers.
The Toffees flopped in their Premier League opener at Leeds, losing 1-0, while Brighton also got off to a disappointing start as they conceded a last-gasp equaliser at home to Fulham.
Both teams will be looking to bounce back by winning today, with the Toffees having extra motivation on an historic afternoon for the club.
Everton vs Brighton and Hove Albion top betting tips
Jack Grealish was Everton's big summer signing but he had to settle for an appearance off the bench in that disappointing loss to Leeds on Monday night.
Given the Toffees' lack of inspiration in that game, the playmaker must surely come in for the start in this one as David Moyes seeks a spark.
Grealish has a decent record against Brighton, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 11 games. He's 9/2 for a goal today but I'm more drawn to the 15/8 on offer at Bet365 for him to either score or assist.
Matt O'Riley had a disappointing first season at Brighton but he started last week and scored from the spot against Fulham. He's evens at BoyleSports for an effort on target today and that could be worth a punt.
Fulham vs Manchester United
Manchester United lost their opener to Arsenal last weekend but most fans took plenty of positives from a vastly improved performance.
Ruben Amorim now takes his side to Craven Cottage today and this clash with Fulham will give us a better idea of how his rebuild is faring.
There's no doubt United look far more threatening up front thanks to the signings of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
Mbuemo came closest to a goal against the Gunners last week so he could be worth a punt at 11/10 with Bet365 to either score or assist today.
The Cameroonian is also a decent 7/4 at BoyleSports for over 1.5 efforts on target, a bet that landed against Arsenal last weekend.
Fulham will fancy their chances of a goal with Amorim's side still looking weak in defence. Combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals takes you to 21/20 with BoyleSports.
Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest
There's a battle of the unhappy managers at Selhurst Park today as Crystal Palace take on Nottingham Forest.
Oliver Glasner made history at Palace last season by lifting the FA Cup while Nuno Espirito Santo upset the odds by leading Forest back into Europe.
But Glasner is disillusioned by his club's lack of spending in the transfer market and his mood has been soured further by the sale of star man Eberechi Eze.
Santo, meanwhile, seems to have fallen out with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis and there's usually only one outcome when the Greek tycoon gets upset with a manager.
It will be interesting to see which side is affected most by the upheaval today in what should be a tight game. Going for the half-time draw looks the best option and that pays evens at BoyleSports.
The midfield duel between Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton should be a good watch and neither player pulls out of a tackle. A double on each player committing over 1.5 fouls pays 6/1 at Bet365.
St Mirren vs Rangers
Russell Martin's Rangers rebuild hasn't gone to plan so far, with the new manager bidding to win his first Premiership game at the third attempt when they take on St Mirren this afternoon.
Progress in the Champions League qualifiers had silenced some of the sniping but the wheels came off at Ibrox on Tuesday as Brugge went 3-0 up inside 20 minutes in their play-off clash.
Rangers now face a Buddies side who were a thorn in their side last term, with Stephen Robinson's men claiming two wins and a draw. St Mirren's style of play has the potential to cause Gers more problems and it would be a disaster if Martin dropped more points ahead of next week's Old Firm game.
But Glasgow's big two rarely drop points for three domestic games in a row and Rangers' price is a decent 7/10 given their struggles so far. You can boost their odds to evens by adding on over 1.5 goals.
Three of the four meetings last term hit double figures for corners so over 11.5 corners also appeals at 11/8 with the same firm.
