Sundays top tips 2

The second round of group games at the women's European Championships gets underway tonight and hosts Switzerland desperately need a win over Iceland to stop their party from falling flat.

The Swiss lost 2-1 to Norway in their opener and that result was hard to swallow after they were the better team from long spells. They now face an Iceland side who also crashed to defeat against Finland to get their Group A campaign off to a poor start.

Both teams now probably need a win to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stages alive so the stakes couldn't be higher tonight.

Switzerland Women vs Iceland Women top betting tips

This should be a decent watch as both sides will be going for the win so going for goals looks like a good move. Although Iceland drew a blank in their first game, they played for over half an hour with just 10 players so should offer more of a threat in this game.

BTTS pays just 3/4 at BoyleSports but if you add on over 2.5 goals it boosts the odds to 11/8, which looks decent value.

The Swiss made a strong start in their opener and got their noses in front before half-time. They should start on the front foot again with the home crowd behind them so backing Switzerland to win the first half also appeals at 13/8.

Norway Women v Finland Women

The other Group A game tonight could be a bit more cagey with Norway and Finland both having three points on the board already.

A draw wouldn't be the worst result for either side but they will also know a win could see them secure a place in the knockouts with a game to spare.

BoyleSports make the Norwegians 6/10 favourites and that's probably because they have only lost once in 14 games against the Finns.

These sides met in qualifying with Norway winning 4-0 at home before the Finns scored a last-gasp leveller in a 1-1 draw back in Helsinki.

Winger Guro Reiten scored in that stalemate so she looks a little overpriced at 3/1 with BoyleSports for another strike today.

The Norwegians should come out in top and combining a win for them with under 3.5 goals pays 23/20 with the same firm.

Halmstad vs AIK

In the men's game there's plenty of action in Scandinavia today and the pick of the games comes in Sweden as AIK travel to Halmstad.

The title race is wide open this season and AIK find themselves right in the mix as they bid to finish top for the first time since 2018.

They've lost just one of their 14 league games so far, although that defeat did come on their last road trip against IK Sirius.

But AIK bounced back with a 3-0 home win over Gothenburg and BoyleSports make them 8/13 favourites for another win today.

That price is probably because Halmstads find themselves sitting third bottom of the table after losing four of their last five games.

BTTS has landed in the last four meetings and it ended in a 2-1 AIK victory when they last came calling. So combining the away win with BTTS could pay off at 16/5 with BoyleSports.

Forward Johan Hove has netted in his last three for AIK so the 4/1 on offer at Bet365 for him to grab another goal today looks good value.
