After a draw for Man City on Saturday, Arsenal have the opportunity to open up a four point lead at the top of the table when they visit Old Trafford this afternoon.
The Gunners have made their best start to a season since 2004-05, when they went on to finish second and they've shown some resilience in recent weeks, digging out wins late in games. But they don't have too many fond memories of visits to Old Trafford where their only win in their last 15 Premier League games was a 1-0 victory in November 2020.
United go into the game having won their last three but still look a little fragile following 1-0 wins at Southampton and Leicester.
£82m signing Antony could make his debut and Casemiro his first home outing and for United's part, a win could take them in to the top four – that felt a long way off after their first two games of the campaign.
The Red Devils have managed just five goals so far and it could be another tight match this afternoon. The bookies only just favour the hosts at 13/20 with the Gunners at 13/8 and the draw at 5/2.
Rather than trying to predict the outcome it could pay to back this one to be a slow burner. Five of the last seven meetings have finished Under 2.5 Goals and with a lot at stake for both sides it could be a bit cagey from the off. That makes no goal before 26:00 appeal at 5/6.
Brighton's excellent start to the season was halted by Fulham last weekend but they've a great chance to get back to winning ways at home to struggling Leicester City.
The Foxes are one of two teams, Everton being the other, without a league win so far and if Brendan Rodgers' pre-match press conference was anything to go by that won't be changing today. He lamented the clubs lack of transfer activity and looks a very frustrated figure at the moment. That appears to be symptomatic of the mood in the camp and a well organised Brighton side can take advantage at home at 5/6.

Just a note of caution for everyone backing my local team Brighton, they played without a recognised striker v Fulham and haven’t added to that area of the squad – Wellbeck and Undav both came off the bench so Potter had fit strikers he just didn’t choose to play them. Their best results have come when Wellbeck has been fit enough to start so I think better to hold off backing wins or goals for them until you see a starting line up

Don’t aim to high i.e big odds look for value.Learn to read odds ,take Real Madrid for example they are 3/5 to beat Celtic them odds are frightening given they are European champions.Bookies know the price will have plenty of appeal to punters they also know Real Madrid are not the best in the early stages of the competition,punters will put them in a huge acca and more than likely lose,i might be wrong though,it’s all about being as crafty as they are.
