I WASN'T impressed by a best price of 2-1 for Luis Suarez to score first for Liverpool at Cardiff – but ended up taking it.

Let's be honest, 2-1 is a rubbish price for a first score but bookies are running as scared as Roy Hodgson of the hitman who has netted 10 goals in his last four games.

At that rate he'll shatter Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo's all-time Premier League record of 32 goals in a season.

The Uruguayan has netted 19 league goals in 12 outings and is 1-1 with Coral to hit 32 or more. Get on, I say.

Coral spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “Suarez is scoring goals for fun at the minute so with 21 league games of the season still to play he looks set to put his name in the history books and set a new Premier League record.”

Suarez is just 1-6 to top the Premier League scoring chart this season with Sergio Aguero 8-1 and Wayne Rooney 25-1.

And just think this is the guy we were all cursing when he couldn't score against Jordan. That's Jordan the country!

I put up a few wks ago when he was 2/1 I think in mid season coupon and Liverpool were 6/5 to finish top 4, never put them on but Liverpool season could be defined in next 2 games away to city & chelsea, 2 wins and they’re serious title contenders and possible favourites

our next two games wont define the season, remember we will still have them to play at home, and we don,t often lose at home.

Evs seems very generous. All he needs is a goal every 2 games. Tempting to lump on £500

Chris, if he stays fit it’s a great bet.

I’m very glad I ignored his 8 match ban and got on the 20-1 offered by Unibet before the season began.

I’m no Liverpool hater or anything but my gut feeling is they’ll fade away, however, I wouldn’t bet on it, as I said just a gut feeling

Stuartw, Liverpool need Suarez to stay hope. If he goes through a poor patch they could struggle but of course have Sturridge to return – and Gerrard.

What if he leaves In January? Would the bet be refunded? Think there is a good chance he could join Real in transfer window. He isn’t cup tied for European competition, so any of the big European teams could come sniffing.

    Just a thought.

Big Man, Suarez is unlikely to leave in January – and if he did bets wouldn’t be refunded. That’s part of the risk. Has a £100m release clause if Peter Lawwell has a few quid spare.

That’s a bold statement right there Mr F… I like it. Being partial to United, the quicker he goes the better.

    Or should I say biter…

    Sorry. Couldn’t resist! :)

Being a red who been going games I see first hand how good he is. If he does go its because we couldn’t finish top 4. But after what i seen tonite it’s Chelsea and arsenal who might not make top 4. Lets just hope big ya ya gets dodgy Xmas dinner of his brother. Merry Xmas everyone
