Following a brilliant round of midweek fixtures, the Premier League continues this weekend with another set of full fixtures as the hectic December schedule kicks into gear.

One of the highlights this weekend is the final-ever Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park. Everton come into the match with a spring in their step following their 4-0 in the week while Liverpool will still be seething after conceding a last-minute equaliser to Newcastle.

Other notable matches this weekend include Man City's visit to Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon and a London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham on Sunday.

Ahead of all ten fixtures, we've picked out five spread betting tips that all have the potential to bring in big rewards.

Winning margin: Everton to frustrate Liverpool

The headline game this weekend is Everton vs Liverpool. The Toffees come into the match on the back of a 4-0 win over Wolves which was just the tonic they needed ahead of this one. Generally speaking, they have been good at home his season, too and are now unbeaten in five league matches at Goodison.

Liverpool's away performances haven't been great, either, even if they have still been picking up results. They didn't deserve to beat Southampton ten days ago and couldn't have complained had they lost to Newcastle in the week.

Therefore, backing Everton to not lose by two or more goals on Saturday doesn't feel like a big ask.

Total goals: Newcastle to revert to type

Newcastle's six-goal thriller with Liverpool on Wednesday night was far from the norm for them this season with chance creation being a problem throughout the campaign. Only two of their last 11 matches in all competitions have produced more than three goals so it would be a shock if their clash with Brentford did on Saturday.

The Bees, on the other hand, are a team that have frequently been involved in high-scoring matches this season, particularly at the Gtech Community Stadium. However, their recent record against Newcastle suggests that they will have to win another way this weekend.

Just one of their last four matches against the Magpies at home have produced more than three goals, making the sell price of 3.15 on total goals one too good to turn down.

Scrabbled shirts: Zirkzee come up trumps?

Whenever a forward with a Z in their name is set to play, backing the buy price on the scrabbled shirts market is a smart idea. When that same player also has a J, K and another Z in their name it makes it a total no-brainer particularly when the price is as low as 70.

If Joshua Zirkzee scores for Man Utd on Saturday evening then he will accumulate 45 points on his own. If he scores twice, like he did last weekend at Old Trafford when he started against Everton, then he will blow the target of 70 out of the water on his own.

Other potential big-scoring names in this match include Rasmus Hojlund (26) and Callum Hudson-Odoi (25).

Corners squared: Arsenal to target more corners

When Ruben Amorim suggested on Wednesday night that Arsenal deliberately try and win corners it was sneered at by many but when you are as good at set pieces as Arsenal are, it a) is far from a bad idea and b) is likely something they work on.

The Gunners scored two goals from corners against Manchester United and took a total of 13 in the match. That pushed their average across their last three matches to over ten corners per game. If they play to this average on Sunday, then Fulham will only need to win two corners for the corners squared buy price of 123 to start returning profits.

The Cottagers are averaging just shy of seven corners per match this season and if they play to that on Saturday then the total corners squared will be a whopping 289.

Bookings: Another feist London derby?

London derbies are often fiery affairs and ahead of Tottenham vs Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, we are predicting more fireworks. Tottenham are as unpredictable as they come this season but will spurred on by an angry crowd this weekend which usually translates to hefty challenges on the pitch.

So far this season, Tottenham are averaging just 20 booking points per game while Chelsea are averaging 36. While this takes us below the buy price of 62, one key factor that needs be mentioned is last season's corresponding fixture when Tottenham had two players sent off and Chelsea had five players cautioned.
