The Premier League is entering a pivotal stage of the 2024/25 season with the title race heating up and the relegation battle getting tense.
In recent weeks, the top of the table has been shaken somewhat by Liverpool's back-to-back draws and with Arsenal now just four points behind the league leaders, this weekend feels like a big one for Arne Slot's side.
Their visit to Brentford on Saturday is one of the standout fixtures of the weekend and comes a couple of hours before Arsenal welcome Aston Villa to the Emirates Stadium. Meanwhile, on Sunday, David Moyes will hope to get his first win since returning to Everton when the Toffees take on Tottenham.
Ahead of what could turn out to be a pivotal weekend, we've picked out five spread betting tips that could bring in some healthy profits.

Winning margin: Liverpool's struggles to continue
On Saturday afternoon, it's Brentford vs Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium in a really important match for the visitors. After drawing their last two Premier League matches, their position at the top of the table isn't as commanding as it was at the turn of the year and the Gtech is a tough place to go.
Only Arsenal have picked up more points at home than Brentford so far this season and the Bees come into this one with a spring in their step after coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Man City on Wednesday night. Expect Brentford to run Liverpool close and to, at the very least, not lose by two goals or more.
Total goals: Are Potter's Irons the new entertainers?
Graham Potter's reign as West Ham boss has started pretty well. While they ultimately lost to Aston Villa in the FA Cup, they led the match until deep into the second half and they followed that up with a league win over Fulham on Wednesday.
Both of his first two matches in charge of the club have produced at least three goals with the Fulam match (the only one played a the London Stadium) producing five.
Their opponents this weekend are one of the best-performing away sides in the Premier Legue. Crystal Place have earned more points and scored more goals on the road this season than they have managed at home. Their last four matches against West Ham have produced a total of 18 goals (4.5 per match).
Corners squared: A battle of the corner kings
All eyes will be on the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening but not for the reasons you'd usually associate with a football match. Both of these sides famously have very extroverted set-piece coaches so there will naturally be a lot of attention on corners on Saturday.
Arsenal, who scored from a corner once again last time out, have taken 33 corners in their last three matches at the Emirates Stadium at an average of 11 per match. If they play to that average this weekend, then they will cover the corners squared buy price of 120 on their own.
That means, any Aston Villa corners would be pure profit. The Villains are averaging just over six corners per match this season so this is a no-brainer.
Scabbled shirts: Zirkzee has earned a start
On Sunday afternoon, it's Man Utd vs Brighton at Old Trafford and a golden opportunity to win big on the scrabbled shirt market. Joshua Zirkzee, whose name would be worth 45 points alone if he can get the scoresheet, changed the game against Southampton when he was brought off the bench and has surely done enough to start this one.
In addition to Zirkzee, Man Utd some have other notable names that would be good scorers on scrabbled shirts. These include Rasmus Hojlund (26 points), Bruno Fernandes (20 points) and Alejandro Garnacho (31 points).
Notable players for Brighton who could score big in this market include Joao Pedro (19 points), Danny Welbeck (27 points) and Yankuba Minteh (27 points).
Bookings: A tepid Monday night outing
The final Premier League match of the weekend comes from Stamford Bridge where Chelsea take on Wolves. Neither of these teams have been in too much trouble with referees lately with the hosts picking up just four bookings across their last three matches in all competitions.
Wolves, meanwhile, have picked up even less with their players only picking up a total of three bookings across their last three matches. Therefore, we should only expect between two and three bookings on Monday night which equates to either 20 or 30 booking points.
