SlipsTips’ Tips: Villa to bag in 10/11 Bet Builder

SlipsTips takes a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Monaco’s encounter with Aston Villa in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Monaco and Aston Villa will square off at the Stade Louis II in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Both teams will be looking to clinch a victory that would go a long way to securing a place in the knockout round.

I’ve already covered this contest in a separate match preview but I’m now going to examine the Bet Builder market.

Over 0 Aston Villa Goals

I will get the Bet Builder up and running by backing Aston Villa to score. Unai Emery's side have scored in five of their opening six Champions League games of the season, the majority (6) of which have come away from Villa Park. On top of that, Villa have struck in eight of their last nine Premier League assignments.

That doesn’t bode well for a Monaco side that have failed to silence their opponents in all bar one of their six league phase assignments thus far. It’s also worth noting that Adi Hutter’s side have shipped multiple goals in each of their last three domestic matches.

Lamine Camara to Commit 1+ Foul

For the first of two player-based selections, I’m keen on Lamine Camara to commit at least one foul. No Monaco player has given away more free-kicks than Camara (10) in this season’s Champions League, making at least one misdemeanour in each of the hosts' six league phase games. 

Furthermore, the all-action midfielder has also been the Red and Whites’ most prolific offender in Ligue 1 this season, committing an average of 1.50 fouls per-game. Across his last three outings in the French top-flight, Camera has racked up a combined total of eight fouls, including three away at Montpellier last time out.

Youri Tielemans to Commit 1+ Foul

Up against one of his former clubs, I’ll round off the Bet Builder with a minimum of one foul from Youri Tielemans. The Belgian ace has averaged a team-high 1.33 fouls per-game across Aston Villa’s six Champions League assignments this term to date.

Tielemans has also been a regular on the referees radar in the Premier League this term, averaging 1.36 fouls per 90. He was guilty of four offences away at Arsenal on Saturday evening, not to mention he sinned twice against both Everton and Leicester in Villa’s two league games prior to their Emirates away day.
