SlipsTips takes a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United (Sunday, 16:30)

Spurs will be looking to return to winning ways when they welcome Newcastle United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

I've covered this match-up in more detail in a separate match preview but I've since identified a Bet Builder whereby I'm happy to follow a familiar theme.

The visitors' strong start to the season suggests they're more than capable of keeping this capital clash competitive and it's the 10/11 (SkyBet) available on each team to hit 3+ corners and each team to receive 10+ booking points that caught my eye once more.

Though they may have struggled for consistency in recent weeks, Antonio Conte’s team have proven prominent in the corner rankings this term, averaging 5.27 per-game, a tally that increases to a whopping 8.20 when going about their business at their North London base.

As for Newcastle, they have been flying the flag for corners-based backers all season, with Eddie Howe’s side earning a joint league-high 7.45 flag kicks per 90 minutes following 11 rounds of fixtures.

What’s more, Spurs boss Conte tends to loosen the shackles when his team are playing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, so with all things considered, I'm more than happy to back each team to deliver a minimum of three corners.

To round off the selection I'm going with each team to receive 10+ Booking Points in what should be a keenly-contested affair in the capital.

These two tightly-matched teams are averaging in the region of 1.5 yellow cards per-game in the Premier League this season, not to mention referee Jarred Gillet has awarded both sides at least one booking in three of his five top-flight outings this term to date.

It's also worth noting that the aforementioned combination has clicked in three of Newcastle’s five road games this season so far, including last Sunday’s stalemate with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

With all that in mind, as well as the fact that the formula is as short as 8/15 elsewhere, the 10/11 (SkyBet) on each team to hit 3+ corners and each team to receive 10+ booking points makes plenty of appeal.

Recommended Bet

  • Each team 3+ Corners
  • Each team 10+ Booking Points
  •  10/11 (SkyBet)
