SlipsTips examines the Bet Builder market ahead of Brighton's clash with Southampton in the Premier League on Friday night.

The two teams have had very contrasting starts to the campaign, with the Seagulls flying high in fifth place, while the Saints are propping up the top-flight standings.
I’ve already penned a separate match preview on this all south coast clash but I’m now going to turn my attention to the Bet Builder market.

I’ll get the Bet Builder up and running by backing Brighton to make the net bulge at least once on Friday night. Fabian Hurzeler’s free-flowing side have found the back of the net in all but one of their 12 Premier League games this season, including each of their last eight.
On current form, the Seagulls have to be fancied to continue in that vein against rock-bottom Southampton. The Saints have failed to silence their opponents in 11 of their 12 top-flight outings this term, leaking a minimum of one goal in each of their six road matches thus far.
Flynn Downes To Commit 1+ Foul
Moving on to the first of two player-based picks, I’m going with Southamton’s Flynn Downes to commit one or more fouls at the Amex on Friday night. The Saints midfielder has been a serial offender in the Premier League this season, racking up a team-high 19 fouls across his 11 starts in the top-flight this term to date.
The 25-year-old was guilty of one offence against Liverpool last weekend, and in the three games prior to that he was reprimanded by the referee on multiple occasions. Downes will likely be assigned a shackling job on Albion attacker Joao Pedro on Friday night. The Brazilian international has drawn at least one foul from the opposition in five of his six Premier League outings for Brighton this season.
Joel Veltman To Commit 1+ Foul
For the third and final leg of the Bet Builder, I’m backing Brighton’s Joel Veltman to also commit a minimum of one foul during this dust-up. The experienced right-back is averaging a shade over one foul per-game in the Premier League this season.
Dig a little deeper, and it can be seen that a sizable eight of the overall 12 misdemeanours that Veltman has made this term have arrived at the Amex. That six-game sample has seen the Dutchman give away two or more free-kicks on two occasions, so there is plenty of scope for him to overstep the mark just once in what should be a keenly contested affair under the south coast lights on Friday night.
