SlipsTips shares his favourite fancy from the Premier Sports Cup in Scotland on Tuesday night, with Rangers tie with Queen of the South taking centre-stage.

Rangers vs Queen of the South (Tuesday, 19:45)

Rangers will be looking to seal their passage to the quarter-final stage of the Premier Sports Cup when they welcome Queen of the South to Ibrox on Tuesday night.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side have made an unbeaten start to the Scottish Premiership season and they are also preparing to compete in the the Champions League for the first time in 12 years following their playoff triumph against PSV last midweek.

Before the Light Blues can begin to look forward to more mouthwatering European nights, they must turn their attention to their Scottish League Cup campaign which commences on Tuesday night.

Standing in Gers' way is League One outfit Queen of the South, who have made a poor start to life in the second tier following their relegation from the Championship, having won just one of their opening five matches.

Unsurprisingly, Rangers are red-hot favourites here at a general 1/16, but it's the 11/10 with SkyBet on Queen of the South to receive 20+ Booking Points that my eyes were drawn to.

It goes without saying that Willie Gibson's side will be up against the odds on Tuesday night, so they may deploy the dark arts in an attempt to tame a Teddy Bears team that have racked up 13 strikes across their last four home games.

Although it's still early the season, the Doonhamers have accrued 20 or more Booking Points in six of their nine competitive contests so far, including four of their five league games – a sample that includes two red cards.

Rangers, on the other hand, have drawn two or more bookings from eight of their nine opponents across all competitions this season to date, with each of the five sides to visit Ibrox collecting a minimum of two cards.

In fact, a whopping 24 of the last 25 teams to travel to the Light Blues base on either Scottish Premiership or domestic cup duty have departed Govan having accumulated at least 20+ Booking Points.

With this in mind, coupled with the fact that referee David Dickinson's BP per-game average last season was a sizeable 51.11, backing the visitors to pick up 20+ Booking Points on Tuesday night is a price that definitely represents value.
