Bayern Munich resume their Bundesliga title defence with a trip to Mainz on Saturday evening.
Thomas Tuchel’s team bounced back from a 2-2 draw at RB Leipzig by sweeping aside Freiburg 3-0 before the international break.
However, the ever-dominant Bavarians remain in third spot in the German top-flight, two points adrift of league leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
In contrast, It has been a pretty miserable start to the season for Mainz who are second bottom of the Bundesliga and winless after seven rounds of fixtures.
Having said that, Bo Svensson's side did pick up one of their two points with a spirited 2-2 draw at Borussia Monchengladbach last time out, but they'll undoubtedly face a much tougher challenge this weekend.

A sizable eight of those 23 league goals have been scored by Harry Kane, so it would be fair to say that the England skipper has hit the ground running following his big-money move to the Bundesliga during the summer.
What’s more, Kane quickly endeared himself to the Bayern Munich faithful by becoming the first-ever player in the club's history to score seven times in his first five appearances for the German powerhouse.
Admittedly, Bayern Munich’s new number nine failed to make the net bulge last time out against Freiburg, however he could make up for that here against a Mainz side that hold the joint worst defensive record in the division.
Bo Svensson's backline has been breached in each of their seven Bundesliga outings this season so far, with the out-of-sorts hosts shipping multiple goals in all but one of those matches.
Such defensive fragility does not bode well ahead of a visit from a Bayern Munich side who could well find themselves five points behind league leaders Leverkusen by the time they take to the field on Saturday evening.
It’s also worth pointing out this particular FC Hollywood and Harry Kane combination clicked in Bayern’s recent league wins over fellow lower-half trio Werder Bremen, Augsburg and Bochum.
With all that in mind, siding with the aforementioned formula at the Mewa Arena on Saturday evening stands out at 5/6 with Bet 365
