THE Russian Premier League continues this midweek and I'm aiming to follow up on last week's Even-Money winner in Saint Petersburg.

Dinamo Moscow vs Zenit St Petersburg (Wednesday 18:45)

Zenit St Petersburg will be looking to continue their perfect start to the season when they meet Dinamo Moscow at Les Yashin Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Sergei's Semak's side have taken maximum points from their opening four Russian Premier League matches and they have subsequently opened up a four point gap at the top of the table.

Dinamo Moscow, meanwhile, occupy fifth place and come into this clash off the back of their first setback of the season – a 2-0 defeat away at Arsenal Tula.

The capital club have taken seven points from a possible 12 thus far but it will take a herculean effort to halt the reigning champions who are in red-hot form.

Zenit thumped Tambov 4-1 on Saturday and in doing so the Lions have now avoided defeat in each of their last 23 Russian top-flight tussles.

What's more, the Russian heavyweights have not been turned over in any competition since last December – a Champions League defeat at the hands of Benfica – and I fancy that eye-catching run to remain intact in Moscow this midweek.

An outright Zenit success can be backed at a general 8/11 with most bookmakers, however, I'm more attracted to the 10/11 on offer with Sky Bet for Sergei's Semak's free-scoring side to score two or more goals in this match.

Zenit have scored at least twice in each of their four league games this term and when digging a bit deeper it can be seen that they have hit two or more goals in 12 of their last 13 Russian Premier League assignments.

Zenit boss Sergei Semak has a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal, including impressive Iranian striker Sardar Azmoun who has notched three goals across his last two appearances.

Indeed, Dinamo have only conceded two goals this season, however, I suspect they will find Zenit too hot to handle and with that in mind I'm happy to back the star-studded away side to make the net bulge at least twice in Moscow on Wednesday night.
