SlipsTips casts his eye over the Bet Builder market ahead for Lazio's showdown with Atalanta in Serie A on Saturday night.

Lazio vs Atalanta (Saturday, 19.45)

A mouthwatering match-up takes place in Serie A on Saturday night as Lazio welcome Atalanta to the Stadio Olimpico.

Maurizio Sarri's side currently sit eighth in the Italian top flight with 35 points from 22 outings so far in what has been a largely underwhelming campaign.

That said, the Biancocelesti have been nothing if not entertaining this season and there could be more goals on the cards when Atalanta arrive in the Eternal City.

Gian Piero Gasperini's guests held league leaders Inter to a goalless draw last weekend but they have only failed to notch in four of their previous 34 and they roll into Rome boasting an unbeaten road record in domestic competition this season.

Given that we have all the ingredients required for a thrilling affair, I'm going to dip into the Paddy Power's #WhatOdssPaddy market and take the even-money (1/1) about over one match goal, each team to hit 3+ corners and each team to receive a card.

Lazio's league games have been awash with goals all season, with all but one of their opening 22 contests of the campaign yielding at least two strikes, not to mention each of their last nine outings have featured three or more goals.

Meanwhile, Atalanta have seen a healthy 16 of their 21 league games deliver Over 1.5 goals, including 10 of their 11 matches away from their Bergamo base.

With that in mind, as well as having two attack-minded head coaches in each respective dugout, I'm more than happy to side with a minimum of two match goals here, but to boost the price, I'll also back each team to hit three corners.

The hosts haven't been particularly prolific corner performers this season, averaging 3.95 per-game, but it's worth noting that tally increases to 5.20 when operating at their Roman headquarters.

La Dea, on the other hand, have proven prominent in the corner rankings this season, averaging 5.76 per 90, hitting 3+ flagkicks in 18 of their 21 Italian top-flight tussles to date.

As such, three corners apiece doesn't look like too much to ask of two teams that are renowned for their forward-thinking and offensive football.

With the stage set for an action-packed capital clash, I'll round off the Bet Builder by backing each to receive at least one booking.

Lazio have been one of the more ill-disciplined sides in Serie A this season, averaging 2.64 yellows per-game, whilst Atalanta are not too far behind with their 2.24 figure, not to mention referee Simone Sozza has shown each team a card in 7/7 Serie A assignments this season thus far.

What's more, the aforementioned Bet Builder would have paid out in four of Lazio's last five league games, which only adds to the appeal of siding with the same even-money (PaddyPower) combination on Saturday night.
