IT's matchday five in the Scottish Premiership this weekend and I'm going to have a look at two of Saturday's fixtures for the purposes of putting up a cross-match Bet Builder.
Motherwell vs Hamilton (15:00)
Motherwell will be desperate to claim their first three points of the season when they host local rivals Hamilton Academical on Saturday afternoon.
Stephen Robinson's side exceeded expectations last term, however, the Steelmen have made a stuttering start to the new season having picked up just two points from a possible 12 thus far.
Having said that, Well will take confidence from their 0-0 draw at Easter Road last Saturday evening – a result which brought an end to Hibs' perfect start to the season.
Motherwell's early-season struggles can be attributed to their failure to hit the back of the net in three of their four fixtures thus far but I fancy them to strike against an Accies outfit that have kept just three clean sheets across their last 19 Scottish top-flight assignments.
Brian Rice's men were thumped 5-1 by Celtic on the opening Sunday of the season before falling to damaging back-to-back home defeats at the hands of Ross County and St Mirren respectively.
Given Accies early-season woes coupled with Motherwell's recent signs of recovery, I'm going to combine Motherwell double chance alongside Motherwell to score for the first half of the BetBuilder double.
Rangers vs Kilmarnock (15:00)
Rangers will be looking to get back to winning ways against Kilmarnock on Saturday after slogging their way to a stalemate away at Livingston last weekend.
Steven Gerrard's side had taken maximum points from their opening three league matches before surprisingly stumbling at the Tony Macaroni Arena last Sunday.
Consequently, the Teddy bears missed the chance to move further clear of fierce rivals Celtic and they can ill-afford another slip-up when Kilmarnock pitch up at Ibrox on Saturday.
Killie have taken just two points from a possible 12 but one of those points came against star-studded Celtic and I suspect the Ayrshire outfit will set out to frustrate Rangers with a replica of the defensive blueprint that stifled the Bhoys.
Alex Dyer has plenty of experienced pros at his disposal and he will be hoping for another stubborn display from his side on Saturday, however, a bruised Rangers team could prove to be too strong on home turf.
Having said that, Gerrard's Gers may have to be patient when trying to breakthrough what could be a compact Killie rearguard and therefore I'm going to add Rangers to win and under five match goals to the the second half of the Bet Builder double to give us a backable 5/6 shot with Bet 365.
Recommended Bet
- Motherwell Double Chance & Motherwell 1+ Goal

Your taken a chance there. Under 5 match goals.
Absolutely, can see Killie putting at leastv2 past that defence. Rangers corners is tge way to go along with a penalty in the game
