Bruno Fernandes looks well placed to register a minimum of one shot on target on Thursday night. The Manchester United captain appears to be enjoying a new lease of life under Ruben Amorim’s tutorship, striking four times across his compatriot's 14 games in charge, including two strikes in his last three outings.
The Portuguese playmaker is averaging a team-high 3.00 shots per-game in the Europa League this season, hitting the target in two of United’s three home games so far. The Red Devils ace has also worked the opposition goalkeeper at least once in each of his last four outings across all competitions.
4 or More Manchester United corners
A minimum of four team corners should be within range for Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday night. The Red Devils are earning an average of 6.5 corners per-game in this season’s Europa League. In fact, United have covered the 4+ flag-kick line in four of their opening six league phase assignments, including nine and 10 in their respective home games with both Twente and PAOK.
As for Rangers, they have conceded four or more corners in each of their three Europa League games away from Glasgow this season. Furthermore, Tottenham racked up no fewer than seven flag-kicks when they went up against the Light Blues at Ibrox last month.
Nicolas Raskin to Commit 2+ Fouls
No player has committed more fouls than Rangers’ Nicolas Raskin (17) across the opening six rounds of league phase action. The Belgian’s combative streak has coincided with him averaging 2.83 fouls per-game in the Europa League this term, making multiple misdemeanours in each of the Gers’ last four continental contests.
With Raskin expected to come up against the aforementioned Fernandes, there is plenty of scope for that trend to continue on Thursday night. The United skipper has been brought down a combined total of seven times across his last four Premier League appearances at Old Trafford.
