Fighting it out for the right to enter the draw for the league phase of the Champions League, Kairat Almaty and Celtic will reconvene for the second leg of their play-off tie on Tuesday evening.

This tie is delicately poised after the pair played out a goalless draw at Celtic Park last midweek.

Despite that stalemate, Celtic are firm odds-on favourites to triumph inside 90 minutes at the Ortalyq Stadıon on Tuesday evening.

Under 5 Goals

I’ll get the Bet Builder up and running by siding with Under 5 Goals. As was the case in Glasgow last midweek, goals have been at a premium throughout Kairat Almaty’s Champions League qualifying campaign so far. In fact, each of the hosts’ previous seven qualifiers have failed to break the Over 3.5 Goal barrier, with six of those contests featuring Under 2.5 Goals.

For the second leg of the Bet Builder, I’ll include a minimum of two cards for Kairat Almaty. The Kazakh club demonstrated during last week's first leg at Celtic Park that they are very skilled at the dark arts and pushing the boundaries of fair play, ending that contest with three cautions.

Dig a little deeper and it can be seen that Kairat have collected two or more cards in six of their previous seven qualifiers this summer, including each of their three assignments at their Almaty base – a trend that I would expect to continue during this do-or-die clash.

It's also worth noting that Celtic have drawn a minimum of two cards from their opponents in three of their last four outings across all competitions, including last week’s first leg in Glasgow.

Over 4 Celtic Corners

I'm more than happy to conclude the Bet Builder with Celtic to earn five or more corners on Tuesday evening. Brendan Rodgers’ team have been prolific on the corner front over the opening stretch of the season, covering the 5+ flag kick line in each of their five matches so far.

In fact, Celtic have racked up 10 or more corners in four of their opening five games of the season, including a whopping 15 when playing host to Kairat last midweek. While I wouldn't expect to see Celtic reach those types of figures again on Tuesday evening, a minimum of five corners should be well within reach.
