EVERTON are the only side still unbeaten in the Premier league and their record should remain intact tonight against Newcastle.
Roberto Martinez's side have started the season well despite the loss of Merouane Fellaini and David Moyes to Man United.
Bringing in Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea was a superb piece of business and he is 4-1 with bet365 to mark his home debut with the opening goal.
Lukaka bagged the winner at West Ham last weekend and is bound to be a man on a mission. He was on loan at West Brom last season and has netted four goals in his last four Premier League appearances.
It was Leighton Baines who netted the Toffees' other strikes at Upton Park with two free-kicks and he's worth a look as an anytime scorer at 11-2 with William Hill. The strikes took Baines' tally of Premier League goals to 21.
Everton are a best 4-6 at Paddy Power to take the points with Newcastle 11-2 at Betfred.
A surprise home defeat against Hull last weekend saw the feelgood factor in the Magpies camp end and although Alan Pardew’s men bounced back with a Capital Cup triumph against Leeds they’re likely to return from Merseyside empty-handed – and remember they've only won once on their last 10 visits to Goodison.
However, there could be goals and the last five meetings between the sides have produced three or more. That pays 17-20 at bet365.

So the Everton goal threats are; an on-loan kid who hasn’t started at Goodison before… and the left back? Five games in and that left back is the clubs leading goalscorer, with two.
It’s so early in the season that 0:1 sees Newcastle leapfrog Everton in the table, and move from 16th to 8th, on points.
There were a couple of 0-0’s early on in the season for Everton; at Cardiff and at home to West Brom.
And I give the bookmakers odds that there will be three goals. nope.
I’ll shut up and just sit this one out, the moobs puts me off. Put them away, no one needs to see that.
MaccLad2011, you’re welcome to your pinion but don’t need to be so smug about it. You can do that after the game if you’re right. You need to look a Lukaku’s record for WBA last season and I’m sure he scored against Newcastle. In my opinion he’s the best striker Chelsea don’t have and has a good chance of scoring. Baines is a huge threat from set-pieces and also takes the penalties so again he’s worth a look. The highlights of the 0-0 against West Brom show Everton created a load of chances but were kept out by great goalkeeping and the woodwork. On the overs, the last five meetings have been over 2.5 goals. I might not be right here but the reasoning is fine.

Bit of mischief I suspect with the Newcastle photo Paul?
I wanted to stay quiet, really I did, but I did take another look at R Lukaku. Am I right in thinking that the stat quoted “4 from 4” includes the West Brom Hat-Trick in Sir Alex’s final game at Old Trafford, Man Utd 5 – 5 West Brom. That was even reported by the BBC as a crazy finish to a game.
I’m certainly no football genius, but wouldn’t a prudent statistician disregard an out-lier result like that? A unique occasion, a dead-rubber game and a different team.
Steve Clarke used him as a super-sub for West Brom IIRC. Lukaku to start on the bench and come on to score, not to leading the line from kick-off, was “buying money.”
Generally, I have been reading articles stating the EPL goals average is noticeably down this year, and reasons suggested include the new TV money deal. Last years results (and the seasons before) just don’t impress me much after reading those talking heads. Maybe I am too easily swayed, but I am genuinely uncomfortable with the overs tips. I had misread it as a home goals tip, not a match goals tip… my bad. But I’m still puzzled by this game.
MaccLad, go with your gut feeling then. I’m not making you or anyone else back my tips.
hi mr f i wanna bet handicap newcastle +1 6/5 at william hill.does that mean if newcastle loses by 1 goal i get my money back.thanks mr f
Skut, you have Everton 0 Newcastle 1 to start the game with so if Everton win by 1 you will have a draw and lose the bet. A drawn game or Newcastle win and you collect.
For anyone interested in goalscorer bets ive just got on Leighton Baines to score at anytime. Its been enhanced at Betway from 4/1 to 6/1 and is as short as 3/1 in other places. Dont usually bet on scorers but seems good value and worth a few quid.
A week or so ago i would have been nervous backing a high scoring game given the lack of quality in both strike forces. However, with the addition of Remy and cisse scoring at last, and with lukaku looking very lively (someone explain why Chelsea don’t need him?) then goals look likely. Neither defence is that reliable. Everton conceded 2 against a.very average hammers at the weekend who couldn’t field a credible striker. The overs seems a decent shout to me However I am.also going for a score draw.
Lakuku to score 2+
Aberdeen to score 2+
Blackpool to score 2+
Danny anytime for zenit
Seville v Freiburg over 2.5 gls
5 £1 4folds at skybet pays £161, Lakuku obviously the riskier one at 11/2 but can see him scoring at least once tonight so took a risk
lukaku to score 2 at 6/1 is good. also had a small stake on a hat rick
Baines anytime is now a best 19/4. Lakuku evs.
NMr f how do u put up with these twats, fair play to u putting up ur tips everyday,
If they was anygood at betting they wouldn’t need to look on sites like this for tips,
Tonights game could easily be 2-2 or 3-2 either way
Lakuku buying money :)
Craig, two goals, two disallowed, some first half for the lad.
What a Goal Cabaye
aye Paul he’s a beast like, dunno what mourinhos playing at wi him and Mata. Don’t think Suarez and Lakuku will be above evens next week
Haha I bet mcladd kept quiet,
cheers mr f, putting tonights winnings on dortmund barca spurs and swansea, sounds like easy money
os2ba, good luck but no such thing as easy money.
Romelu seemed determined to shut me up. Still, I’m glad I sat that one out.
Well done Mr F.
MaccLad, he had some first half. I think he’s a right good player and Clarke seemed to use him well last season. He’s still young of course and will improve but I still don’t understand why Mourinho let him go back out on loan.
I know we all found that out with the 2 Manchester teams, after losing to napoli I am expecting 4 or 5 from dortmund tonight,
