Sunday, the Etihad, 4pm, live on Sky Sports
THERE are some huge games on Sunday and possibly the biggest is the Man City v Man United Premier League derby.
It's been a tough start for new boss Davie Moyes whose men have faced Chelsea and Liverpool and now City in their opening five games. I'm not sure of the fixtures computer would have dared hand that schedule to Fergie.
He'd have put one so far up its hard drive it would never have googled again. Fergie Time was the phrase coined when the legendary Scot was in charge and Ladbrokes are attempting to coin Moyesy Time.
They offer 50-1 United score and Etihad winner in injury time. The bookies are also betting on how much injury time will be added at the end of the match and it's 3-1 five or more minutes are played with 6-1 the price there's a goal during that spell for either boss.
City head into the match as 23-10 title favourites and it's 5-1 at Ladbrokes they win today's match before going on to secure the title.
Both sides come into the game in good form having notched impressive Champions League successes in midweek. I find it difficult to split the sides and with Liverpool losing on Saturday to Southampton there is less need for either side to force the issue.
United and Chelsea were happy to play out a 0-0 and Liverpool edged United 1-0 with an early goal. This looks likely to be just as close so I'm going for the draw at 12-5 with Coral and Ladbrokes.
I can see the reasoning behind backing United to win at 13-5 with William and Coral when the sides are so evenly matched and if that was my thinking I'd look at United plus one or maybe even not to lose.
There has been a lot of talk about the lack of goals in the Premier League and the last five meetings between the sides at the Etihad have been under 2.5 goals and that is a real possibility again. Two of them finished 1-0 City, two 1-0 United and 0-0 draw.
Under 2.5 goals pays 4-5 at Titanbet and if that's my call it has to be no scorer or a 1-1 draw.
If there is to be a goal there are plenty of candidates to bag the opener – Aguero, Dzeko, Van Persie and Rooney.
And after shaking off his “soft side” with three goals in two games I'm on Wayne Rooney to score at anytime at 13-5 with Titanbet.

Sevilla to beat valencia?? Opinions?
Jimmysnooploo, I’m looking to take Sevilla, were on my Super Single shortlist.
Valencia team..heads so down atm..depends wa sevilla turn up
Cheers mr bluebird i was going to go with sevilla or man u.. making up for my lack of stake on swansea on thursday (:
Sevilla were unlucky against barca last wk..barca scored in last min to win 3’2 .id rather put my cash with sevilla than man u ….
I’ll do that then.. watch this space (;
@mrfixit am backing mancity to win this one today as a single
Rooney to score at any time 11to4 at bill hills.
Mr F, I also think it would be a draw. the 12/5 offered for a draw can be enhanced at skybet in the correct score group betting section. I got 7/2 for either 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3.
I know this doesnt cover 0-0 or 4-4 upwards, but I think it will be either 1-1 or 2-2.
Rooney to score 10/3 Corals…as low as 2/1 elsewhere! correct score 1-1 11/2 & refund if UTD win, with PP
man utd vs man city, milan vs napoli BTTS?? Opinions??
Have to go with The Btts to score in this one @ 4/6,too much striking talent on show for both not to score,in previous 6 League meetings Man shity have found the net every time while united have failed in 2 of those 6 games, but with Rooney now back happy and scoring mid week and Van persies goal scoring ability I just cant see this game not covering a goal from both teams.
There have been 26 goals in last 6 meetings in all comps so betting on the unders may be a bit risky and I prefer the chance on the over 2.5 @ 10/11 Stats as follows :
08th Apr 13 England – Premier League Manchester United : Manchester City 1:2
09th Dec 12 England – Premier League Manchester City : Manchester United 2:3
30th Apr 12 England – Premier League Manchester City : Manchester United 1:0
08th Jan 12 England – FA Cup Manchester City : Manchester United 2:3
23rd Oct 11 England – Premier League Manchester United : Manchester City 1:6
07th Aug 11 England – Community Shield Manchester City : Manchester United 2:3
I wont be betting on the game myself as I don’t want the mighty united to be one goal up and finding myself praying that shity score. GO ON UNITED!!!!!!!!!
Hi Mr.F appreciate all your hard work you do on here. I need BTTS to score for an acca to come in, should I cover both teams not to score in this game to be safe?
get on rooney to score and man of the match at 10’s wi ladbrokes, he’s gonna run the show the day and english commentators love an englisman for motm, bias wilk show if man utd don’t get beat. 2-2 for me rooney anytime and motm
was In paper yday he’s joint top all time gl scorer in the manc derbies wi 10 gls wi last 2 coming in at the etihad. on from just now and as stated above very good chance of man of the match if man utd get something from the game
rooney scored 2 or more on 2/3 last visits to etihad, both games finishing 3-2. rooney to score 2 or more is 19/1 wi paddy power but only 10/1 wi a few bookies including skybet.
2-1 or 3-2 city for me I also fancy a red card for United maybe vidic. Aguero anytime Rooney anytime
