Scottish League Cup: KevMac’s Celtic v Raith & Dundee Utd v Hibs Tips

CELTIC are back in their Parkhead comfort zone tonight and the bookies expect them to blitz Raith Rovers in the League Cup.

There was more away day misery for Ange Postecoglou on Sunday as his side crashed to defeat on Livingston’s plastic pitch.

But the Hoops have been convincing winners in every domestic home game so far and McBookie price them at just 1/11 for a victory tonight, with Raith as big as 22/1.

Rovers don’t strike me as a team who will try to park the bus so there should be plenty of goalmouth action.

However, even over 3.5 goals is odds-on with the bookies so it’s better to look at the player and corner markets.

Even in a poor display at Livi the Hoops still managed 10 corners, making over 8.5 home corners a good option tonight at 7/5 with McBookie.

Giorgos Giokoumakis should make his Celtic debut but is poor value for a goal at 4/9 with Paddy Power.

Tonight’s other League Cup tie sees Hibs travel to Tannadice and they look decent value at 11/8 for a win inside 90 minutes.

For a long-odds option, Charlie Mulgrew is 5/1 with McBookie to have a shot on target which is worth a punt as he takes United’s free-kicks.

There’s not a great deal between these sides and I fancy the half-time draw at 21/20 with Bet365. That bet has come up in five of United’s last six games.
