We have another round of group matches from the Betfred league cup in Scotland with most sides now playing their 4th match of the group stages. The Bookies are taking no chances and they've sucked the value out of a lot of these games.

To summarise, a few of the big clubs have struggled in ths competition but there are plenty sides in action tonight who have flourished.  We should see quite a few goals, especially at Berwick, a side who have lost 6-0 and 7-0, Motherwell are in terrify shape as they travel to play Jim Duffy's Dumarton side who have shipped 10 goals in two games + Dundee United and Hibs are both at home to lower league opposition

Horrible conditions for football tonight, hot, humid, dry and pitches likely to be slow and sticky, hopefully won't have to much of a say in terms of goals.

Hibernian vs Arbroath (KO 7.45pm)

Then Hibee's have been a bit of a flop so far, after drawing 1-1 away at Stirling then only huffing and puffing to a 2-0 win at Home to Alloa.

They welcome another Championship side to Easter road in the form of Dick Campbell's Arbroath. Nothing flash, Hibs at home another match of sharpness should win this comfortably . Still not convinced they'll dish out 3+ goals but would be shocked if they didn't manage to score at least 2 against their part time opponent's.

Berwick Ranges v Falkirk (KO 7.45pm)

You have to feel for the Berwick fans, they haven't seen their side score a competitive goal in 11 matches, during which time they have conceded 42 and so far in this league cup campaign they have been battered 6-0 and 7-0.

Falkirk need to win here and should do so with minimum fuss – 4 goals minimum for the Bairns

Recommended Bets:

  • Hibs over 1.5 team goals
  • Falkirk over 3.5 team goals
  • 5/6 (Bet365) (NAP)  – was evens earlier this morning

Betfred Cup Goals Specials:

Unbelievably, skybet are offering a full card of specials tonight in the 11 Betfred Cup matches. Couldn't believe my eyes especially when we have so many mis-matched sides playing.

10/11 for 37+ goals to be scored and if it wasn't so dam hot and humid out there I may have went higher.

Berwick v Falkirk

Hibs v Arbroath

Dumbarton v Motherwell

Dundee United v East Fife

Inverness v Cove Rangers

These 5 games alone should deliver on avg 4-5+ goals and that will se us well on out way to hitting 37+, especially If Berwick can continue to be as bad as they have been, Hibs are due some goals, and Motherwell are in scoring for fun.

Recommenedd Bets;

  • 37+ goals to be scored
  • 10/11 (Skybet) (NB)
  • All matches over 1.5 goals
  • 9/2 (Skybet)

All matches over 2.5 goals 100/1 (Skybet) worth a couple of pound

It’s hibs to score 2 at home – even they’ll manage that 😂 very little risk of that not landing IMO

Hibs have got to be better – it’s only 10 days or so from the start of the season so it’s time to perform.
      Should score at least 2.

Could understand if I had put Hibs to score 3 goals or over 2.5 but Hibs to score 2 is pretty solid
