All eyes will be on Serie A on Saturday, as we’re in for a titanic clash right at the start of the season, with the champions taking on their main title rivals of recent years.

Inter Milan host Napoli in a match that will have significance right until the very end of the season. Separately, we can look forward to another major clash between Roma and Atalanta, who are level on points at the top of the table.

Below you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for all Serie A matches on Saturday.

Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions

Fiorentina vs. Torino (2pm)

No one expected Fiorentina to start the season with two defeats. What we least expected, however, was for them to lose 3-0 and 4-0 and still be searching for their first goal.

Torino are another side who have suffered two defeats in their first two matches, but at least we saw a bit more action and effort from them. They scored in both of their matches.

This is a very tricky match because we have two teams in really poor form, yet the bookmakers are still giving Fiorentina a huge advantage, albeit certainly undeservedly so. That’s why I think it’s worth backing Torino to score at least one goal, given all the problems in Fiorentina’s defence.

Inter Milan vs. Napoli (5pm)

There is no bigger clash in Serie A than this one, particularly when it comes to the title race. There are far bigger derbies, but Inter and Napoli were the two teams at the top of the table last year.

Their matches in recent years have been nail-biting, with four of the last five failing to produce a winner. Each of those five matches, moreover, featured at least one goal from each side.

Right now, it looks as though Inter Milan are in better form, following Napoli’s home defeat to Como, but the visitors remain fully capable of springing a surprise on the champions. That’s why I’m going to take a slight risk with BTTS again.

AS Roma vs. Atalanta (7:45pm)

It’s set to be an interesting evening in Rome, with Gian Piero Gasperini facing his former club, Atalanta. But his AS Roma side look like the team to beat right now, and they haven't looked as exciting in many years.

Both teams have started with two wins and are battling it out for top spot, but Roma have done so with back-to-back 4-0 victories, whilst Atalanta have struggled quite a bit. Interestingly, Roma haven’t beaten La Dea in eight consecutive matches, losing six of them.

But I reckon this is the moment when that will change. Roma look as though they simply cannot put a foot wrong, although we all know that anything is possible. But I’m expecting a third consecutive convincing win for the Wolves.
