After losing to Manchester United in the dying minutes on Thursday night, Rangers bounced back today with a 3-1 win away from home against Dundee Utd.
The result has left Gers ten points behind Celtic in the title race after the league leaders saw their match with Dundee postponed on Saturday due to damage caused by Storm Eowyn.
While the ten-point gap will still feel like a mountain it is down on the 15 they trailed by two weeks ago and with two more old firm derbies to play this season, perhaps all is not lost.
As the second half of the season kicks into gear, here are some Rangers betting odds that are worth keeping an eye on.
Rangers betting odds today – outrights for the rest of the season
Rangers to win the Scottish Premiership (20/1)
The title race was seemingly all but lost a few weeks ago when Rangers followed up their win in the old firm derby with back-to-back draws, however, the door is once again slightly ajar. Celtic's draw at Dundee coupled with their postponement against the same opponents this weekend has allowed Rangers to close the gap to ten points.
While that it is still a big ask, Rangers could in theory cut that down to four points should they beat Celtic in the two remaining old-firm matches. All of a sudden that gap doesn't look too hefty and with Celtic set to continue in the Champions League, perhaps they could take their eyes off the prize in Scotland.
Hamza Igamane to win the Golden Boot (2/1)
Considering Hamza Igamane started the season as a fringe player at Rangers, it's incredible that he is now the favourite to win the Golden Boot, ahead of the likes of Nicolas Kuhn and Kyogo Furuhashi at Celtic.
Igamane is currently on nine league goals for the season and seven of those have come in his last seven appearances, indicating that he is a man in red-hot form right now. He has the best goal-to-minute ratio out of any player in the top five and will be difficult to catch if he continues as he is.
Rangers to win the Scottish Cup (2/1)
While the Scottish Premiership would have been Rangers' priority at the start of the season, they would also have had their eye on the Scottish Cup after losing in the final to Celtic last season. To add insult to injury, they also lost to their old rivals in the Scottish League Cup final earlier this season.
Back-to-back defeats to Celtic at Hampden Park in such a short space of time has surely left a bitter taste in the mouths of all Rangers players and they will be desperate to get revenge in the Scottish Cup. They have drawn Scottish Championship side, Queen's Park, in the fifth round so will fancy their chances of progressing to the next round.
