DAVID MOYES has West Ham flying high against the odds and will fancy his chances of taking something from old club Manchester United when the Red Devils come calling.
The Scot knows what it feels like to be a manager under pressure at Old Trafford and defeat here would increase the heat on Ole Gunnar Solksjaer after the midweek loss to PSG in the Champions League.
United's inconsistency was summed up in 90 minutes last weekend when they fell 2-0 down to Southampton before rallying to win 3-2 and it's hard to predict what to expect from them here.
But Solskjaer's men have looked at their best on their counter attack and it's hard to see the pragmatic Moyes telling his side to open up and have a go at their defence.
The Hammers have conceded just once in a three-game winning run that has seen them defeat Fulham, Sheffield United and Aston Villa to move up to fifth.
So don't expect another five-goal thriller from United as they look to get back to winning ways after that disappointing Euro defeat, a game where both of Slips Tips' bets came up again.
How the bookies view it
Manchester United had won four in a row before that PSG loss so the bookies still make them favourites here at a best 11/10 with William Hill. The Hammers will attract interest at 13/5 with Bet365 while the stalemate pays 27/10 at Unibet.
Recent head to head
West Ham have been something of a bogey team for Manchester United of late and have lost just once in their last five meetings. Last season the Hammers won 2-0 in London (below) before battling out a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have also claimed just one victory in their last five games at West Ham, a 2-0 triumph back in 2017.
Players to watch
Edinson Cavani has looked sharp for United but may be benched here after the veteran started against old club PSG in midweek. With Marcus Rashford also a fitness doubt, youngster Mason Greenwood could start and is 47/20 with 888Sport for a goal.
Towering West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek is a massive threat from set-pieces and also strikes a ball well. The Czech is a decent 18/5 with 888Sport for a goal.
Anything else catch the eye?
Under 2.5 goals has come up in the last two meetings of these sides and also in two of West Ham's last three fixtures. It pays a decent 11/10 with Bet365 for this one.
I'm expecting a tight game so I like the look of the 13/10 on offer at Bet365 for the score to be level at half-time. Betting against a goal in each half also appeals at 5/4 with Paddy Power.
The last two meetings of these sides saw four bookings on each occasion so over 2.5 cards is a good option at 8/11 with Bet365.
