Leeds United started the new Championship season as favourites for the title but they head into their second game with West Bromwich Albion already feeling the pressure a little.
Only a last-gasp strike saved Daniel Farke's men from defeat as they kicked off with a 3-3 draw against newly promoted Portsmouth at Elland Road last weekend.
Leeds then conceded another three at home to Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup but this time they drew a blank up front and left the pitch to a chorus of boos.
Farke and his players desperately need a win to boost confidence but it won't be easy against West Brom as The Hawthorns is always a tricky place to visit.
The Baggies made the play-offs last term and got off to a flier last weekend as they eased to a 3-1 victory on the road at QPR.
But they also bowed out of the Carabao Cup in midweek, losing 2-1 to League Two Fleetwood, so both teams will have a point to prove in this one.
How the bookies view it: Off-form Leeds still the favourites
Despite their poor start to the campaign, Leeds United are Betfred's favourites for this one at evens. West Brom look overpriced at 23/10 and the draw pays the same price.
Recent head to head: Nothing between the teams
This fixture has been keenly contested in recent years, with the last 12 meetings producing four wins apiece and four draws. But it was the Baggies who just had the edge in the Championship last season, drawing 1-1 at Elland Road before grinding out a 1-0 victory at The Hawthorns.
Players to watch: Baggies seek more Maja magic
Few players made a more impressive start to the Championship season than West Brom's Josh Maja. The former Sunderland kid scored a hat-trick at QPR and is 9/4 with Beftred for anytime scorer.
Young Italian winger Wilfried Gnoto has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer but remains at Elland Road for now. He scored against Portsmouth last weekend and is 13/5 at Betfred for another strike. Bet365 also price Gnonto at 11/8 to either score or assist.
Probable line-ups
Both managers made changes for the midweek cup ties but should field their strongest available sides back on league duty. Farke needs to find the right formula in defence while Georginio Rutter look set to miss out for Leeds after Premier League side Brighton activated his release clause.
West Brom: Palmer, Furlong, Bartley, Ajayi, Heggem, Molumby, Swift, Grant, Mowatt, Fellows, Maja.
Leeds United: Meslier, Byram, Firpo, Struijk, Rodon, Ampadu, James, Gnonto, Gruev, Piroe, Bamford.
Anything else catch the eye?
With West Bromwich Albion scoring three in their Championship and Leeds leaking six across their first two games, it bodes well for a few goals in this one.
Over 2.5 goals looks decent value at 10/11 with Betfred while doubling that with BTTS boosts the odds to 5/4.
Corners look another decent option after Leeds won 12 in their opener while West Brom's clash with QPR produced 15 in total. Over 11.5 corners pays 11/10 at Betfred while Bet365 price Leeds -1 in that handicap at 6/5.
