AC Milan continue their pursuit of leaders Napoli as they travel to Torino for a Serie A fixture on Sunday. The Turin club have shown some good form lately but should be no match for the resurgent champions, who are expected to claim the upper hand here.
Torino are coming off one of their better performances this season as they claimed a 2-1 victory over Udinese in their previous Serie A fixture. They opened the scoring early in the contest through Ola Aina before Pietro Pellegri struck the winner midway through the second half.
It was a much-needed win for Torino, who had suffered four defeats and a draw from their previous five matches. The result has put them back in the top 10 and manager Ivan Juric will be keen to use it as a springboard to push further up the table.
However, the problem for Torino is that their home form still needs a lot of improvement having claimed just one win at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino this season. They have suffered two defeats in their last three matches in front of their fans, losing 1-0 to Sassuolo and Juventus, respectively.
After a few stumbles this season, AC Milan appear to be finally up and running in their title defence. They have risen to second on the Serie A standings, just three points behind leaders Napoli while also progressing to the knockout stage of the Champions League.
AC Milan travel to Torino off the back of four wins in their last five matches across all competitions. They claimed a 4-1 victory over Monza in their previous Serie A fixture and followed that up with a 4-1 win at Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.
The Rossoneri have also been impressive on their travels this season and are unbeaten away from home. Stefano Pioli’s men have won their last three Serie A matches on the road, conceding in all three wins.

Recent head to head
AC Milan are unbeaten in the last seven matches against Torino, claiming five wins in that run. However, the last meeting at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino ended in a 0-0 draw.
Players to watch
Having netted the winner last time out at Udinese, Pietro Pellegri could be given another run out in attack. The forward has now scored in his last two matches and is priced at 4/1 by William Hill to score anytime on Sunday.
As always Rafael Leao will be the one to watch for AC Milan as he looks to add to his five Serie A goals this season. The forward was on target against Monza and Dinamo Zagreb and is priced at 11/4 by bet365 to find the net on Sunday.
