Swansea City and Bristol City have both made decent starts to the EFL Championship season so this clash in Wales should be close as they bid to climb up the table.
The Swans have won their last two games to move up to seventh in the standings and if they grab another three points at home it should be enough to push them into the play-off places.
Since losing the play-off final to Brentford in 2021, the Welsh club haven't been in the promotion mix, with mid-table finishes in each of the last three seasons.
Manager Luke Williams looks to have them on the up again but the Robins will be tricky opponents as they sit just two points behind Swansea in the table after six games.
After a poor run where they took just one point in three games, Bristol City bounced back with a 2-1 win over Oxford United last weekend so they head to Swansea in decent spirits.
How the bookies view it: Swansea just have the edge
There's not much between these sides but Betano make Swansea 13/10 favourites with home advantage. Bristol City are priced at 15/8 and the stalemate pays 9/4.
Recent head to head: Robins on song
Bristol City have held the upper hand in this fixture in recent years, winning six of the last 14 meetings and losing just four. They bossed it last season, winning both matches, including a 2-1 victory in Wales.
Players to watch: Cullen in high spirits
Liam Cullen netted for Swansea in last week's win over Coventry City and that took his tally for the season to three. He will fancy his chances of adding to that tally and is 31/20 for anytime scorer.
Midfielder Scott Twine scored for Bristol City in their 4-3 win over Millwall in August and is a decent medium-odds option for a goal here. He's 14/5 at Betano for anytime scorer.
Probable line-ups
Keeper Andy Fisher and winger Josh Ginnelly look set to miss out again for Swansea due to injury. Bristol City still have Ross McCrorie, Rob Atkinson, Robert Dickie and George Earthy sidelined. Boss Liam Manning faces a dilemma over who to start up front after Sinclair Armstrong scored last week only for Nakhi Wells to replace him in the second half and also grab a goal.
Swansea City: Vigouroux, Key, Cabango, Darling, Tymon, Grimes, Eom Ji-Sung, Franco, Ronald, Cullen, Cooper.
Bristol City: O'Leary, Vyner, McNally, Tanner, Roberts, Bird, Williams, Twine, Mehmeti, Knight, Armstrong.
Anything else catch the eye?
Swansea let me down when I tipped them to win the derby with Cardiff as they could only draw that game 1-1 at home. But I've a feeling they will edge this one based on their results in the last two games. If you want to boost the price, combining a Swansea win with over 1.5 goals pays 2/1 in a bet builder at Betfred.
These teams are pretty evenly matched so there could be some value in backing the half-time draw at 6/5 with Bet365. The card markets could also pay off and Swansea full-back Josh Tymon is tempting a 13/5 to go into the book, having picked up three yellows already this term.
