IT has been a disappointing season for Leicester City but they still have the chance to end it on a high by winning the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League.
A 2-0 victory over Rennes at the King Power has the Foxes in the driving seat for a place in the quarter-finals and they are McBookie's 7/2 favourites to lift the trophy ahead of Roma and Marseille.
Having twice come within a whisker of qualifying for the Champions League before winning the FA Cup, fans were dreaming of Leicester taking the next step this season.
But Brendan Rodgers instead found himself under pressure as the Foxes struggled in mid-table, crashed out of the FA Cup to Nottingham Forest and could only finish third in their Europa League group.
But injuries have undermined Leicester's campaign and they now have a chance to finish strongly with some key players returning to fitness.
Beating Rennes 2-0 (below) was an impressive result as Bruno Genesio's men are fighting for a top-two finish in Ligue 1 and also went unbeaten in a Conference League group that included Spurs.
Leicester and PSG are the only teams to have beaten Rennes in their last seven matches, with Genesio's side winning the five other games. They won 4-2 on the road at the weekend against a good Lyon side so the Foxes can't afford to think they are already through.
How the bookies view it
Leicester are hot favourites to qualify at just 1/6 with Bet365 while Rennes are as big as 5/1 at William Hill. The French side are 6/5 for a win on the night at Unibet while the draw pays 13/5 (QuinnBet) and the Foxes are 12/5 (Bet365).
Team news
Rennes will be without Romain Salin and Jeremy Gelin while they have doubts over Lesley Ugochukwu, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Loic Bade.
Most of Leicester's problems are still in defence with Jonny Evans, Timothy Castagne and Ryan Bertrand still out. Star striker Jamie Vardy is also sidelined while Wesley Fofana is a doubt.
Players to watch
Lovro Majer is Rennes' creative spark and the Croatian midfielder has also chipped in with two goals in his last three matches. He's a decent 7/2 with McBookie for anytime scorer and I'd also keep an eye out for the assist price if that market becomes available.
Harvey Barnes has been in good form for Leicester and the winger scored in both legs against Randers in the last round of the Conference League. He's 10/3 with McBookie for anytime scorer which looks a little overpriced.
Anything else catch the eye?
Slips Tips was left disappointed after tipping BTTS in the first leg but that bet should land here on the evidence of Rennes' domestic form. Sadly, it only pays a best 8/11 with William Hill while over 2.5 goals is a little better at 13/15 with SBK. To boost the odds a bit, backing over 1.5 first-half goals pays 9/5 at Ladbrokes.
The first leg saw 13 corners and we could see a lot here too with Rennes having to go for it. Over 10.5 corners pays 6/5 at Unibet.
