Red Bull Salzburg have one foot in the next round of Champions League qualifiers and it would be a massive surprise if they let a 4-1 lead slip on home soil against Brann.
The Austrian giants are desperate to get back to the league phase after flopping last season by losing seven of their eight games in the revamped tournament,
Salzburg have certainly made a decent start on the road to redemption, easing to aa 4-1 victory in Norway last week as two bets landed for our man Gabriel.
It took them a while to get going as they trailed 1-0 at half-time but Thomas Letsch's men turned on the afterburners by scoring four times to seize control of the tie.
Red Bull Salzburg followed that up by scoring four more goals as they beat Union Dietach in the Austrian Cup to get their domestic campaign underway.
Brann had the weekend off to give them the best possible chance of pulling off a seismic result in Europe.
But it's hard to see them winning by a three-goal margin in Austria, having gone three games without an away win on domestic duty.
How the bookies view it: Brann up against it
After being thrashed in the first leg, Brann are 5/1 outsiders with BoyleSports for the return leg. Red Bull Salzburg are just 4/11 for another win and the draw pays 15/4.
Head to head: Salzburg have Norway's number
That clash in Norway last weekend was the first competitive meeting of these sides. The victory kept up Salzburg's 100 per cent record against Norwegian sides, having beaten Rosenborg home and away in 2018.
Players to watch: Nene a livewire
Dorgeles Nene scored one of the Salzburg goals last week and the pacy forward is on the radar of some of Europe's top clubs. The Mali international also netted 16 times last season and is 13/10 for anytime scorer at Bet365.
Saevar Magnusson is in good form for Brann, with the Icelandic striker netting in two of his last three games. He's 9/2 with Bet365 for another strike here, which looks a little overpriced.
Probable line-ups
Red Bull Salzburg are set to be without Takumu Kawamura, Justin Omoregie and Karim Konate due to injury. Brann also have a few players sidelined, with Fredrik Knudsen, Jonas Torsvik, Niklas Castro and Sakarias Opsahl carrying iujuries.
Red Bull Salzburg: Schlager, Rasmussen, Kratzig Lainer, Gadou, Kjaergaard, Bidstrup, Gloukh, Nene, Baidoo, Onisiwo.
Brann: Dyngeland, Sery Larsen, Soltvedt, Pederse, Helland, Myhre, Kornvig, Sorens, Mathisen, Gudmundsson, Magnusson.
Anything else catch the eye?
There's a danger this match could turn into a non-event, with Salzburg holding such a healthy lead from the first leg. A couple of early goals fro the Austrians would kill it stone dead so there could be some value in backing most goals to come in the first half at 11/5 with BoyleSports.
If the pace drops then it could have an impact on the corner count. Betting against a lot of flag kicks could be a good move but I've yet to see the bookies offer prices in that market.
Brann have only scored once in their last three away games so backing a Salzburg win to nil also looks decent at 9/5 with BoyleSports.
