The former West Ham man signed for the club this summer and while he wasn't the mots glamorous of signings, his presence at the back has certainly made Sociedad more resolute and more difficult to break down. The Moroccan has started the club's last four league matches and has led them to a clean sheet in three of those.
Looking to break through the Aguerd barrier on Sunday night will be Ante Budimir. The experienced Croatian has scored four league goals so far this season making him Osasuna's leading goalscorer and will be looking forward to an old-fashioned challenge with a a brute of a centre half. Budimir netted 17 times last season so Sociedad will know all about him.
