An impressive Europa League campaign has eased some of the pressure on Rangers boss Philippe Clement this season and his side still have a chance of automatic qualification for the last 16 heading into their final group game with Union Saint-Gilloise.
While Gers are lagging behind Celtic in the SPFL Premiership after some woeful domestic results, they've claimed plenty of scalps in Europe and have already secured a place in the knockout stages.
It looked like Clement's injury-hit side would claim another superb point last weekend when they came from behind to level at Old Trafford with just a couple of minutes remaining.
But the Rangers defence switched off in stoppage-time and Bruno Fernandes sealed a 2-1 win for Manchester United that brought up two of Slips Tips' selected bets.
That goal sent Gers down to 13th in the Europa League table so they will need a win against Union Saint-Gilloise and other results to go their way if they're get into the top eight.
The Belgians are in exactly the same position after a 2-1 win over Sporting Braga last week took them to 11 points alongside Rangers and AZ Alkmaar.
Union have lost just once in their last 18 games, to Antwerp in the Belgian Cup, so they will head to Ibrox confident of claiming a victory.
How the bookies view it: Home comfort for Rangers
Lyon are the only team to have won at Ibrox this season and that strong home form makes Rangers the 21/20 favourites at BoyleSports. Union Saint-Gilloise are 15/8 outsiders and the draw pays 12/5.
Head to head: Union out for revenge
These sides faced off in the Champions League qualifiers two seasons ago and Rangers overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit with a rousing 3-0 victory at Ibrox. Those two clashes remain the only meetings between these clubs.
Players to watch: Igamane the main man
Hamza Igamane's emergence has been one of the big positives for Rangers this season and the young Moroccan has four Europa League goals to his name. He's 7/5 at BoyleSports to grab another goal and that looks a decent price.
Franjo Ivanovic was the Union hero against Braga as the young Serb netted a match-winning double. The striker is on 17 goals for the season already so seems a little overpriced at 15/8 for anytime scorer.
Probable line-ups
Rangers have a long injury list with Connor Barron, Vaclav Cerny and Leon Balogun forced off in that loss to Dundee United. They join Dujon Sterling and John Souttar on the sidelines while Ianis Hagi and Danilo haven't been registered for the European squad.
Union Saint-Gilloise will be without Koki Machida and Christan Burgess after they saw red in that win over Braga. Sofiane Boufal, Henok Teklab and Alessio Castro Montes are also doubts due to injury.
Rangers: Butland, Tavernier, Jefte, Propper, King, Diomande, Bajrami, Raskin, Yilmaz, Igamane, Dessers.
Union Saint-Gilloise: Moris, Tishilanda, Sykes, Leysen, Van de Perre, Ait El Hadi, Niang, Sadiki, Rasmussen, Ivanovic, Fuseini.
Anything else catch the eye?
Both sides need a win if they're to stand a chance of sneaking into the top eight so this should be an open match, especially with so many key players missing out.
Backing BTTS only pays 4/9 with BoyleSports but adding on over 2.5 goals takes you to 5/6. I'm more drawn to BTTS and no draw, which takes you into odds-against territory at 5/4.
With both sides looking to attack it bodes well for a few corners as well. Rangers' last two Europa League matches have produced 12 or more flag kicks so I like over 10.5 corners for this one at 11/10 with BoyleSports.
