Rangers are slowly picking up their form as they welcome Ross County to Hampden Park for a Scottish Premiership fixture. The Glasgow club have been particularly solid at home and should have the upper hand over their visitors.
Rangers started the season slow as they failed to win their opening Premiership fixture. They were held to a 0-0 draw by Hearts and also crashed out of the Champions League in the qualifying stages.
The good news for Rangers is that they appear to be finding their rhythm again having won their last two domestic matches. Both wins have come at Hampden Park as Philippe Clement’s men claimed a 2-1 victory over Motherwell before beating St Johnstone 2-0 in the League Cup.
While Rangers appear to be coming out of their funk, Ross County seem to be mired in theirs. Don Cowie’s men have failed to win any of their three matches across all competitions this season.
Ross County were held to a 1-1 draw by Dundee United in their previous Premiership fixture before losing 1-0 to Spartans in the League Cup last time out. One of the problems is a lack of cutting edge in attack as they have failed to score in two of their last three matches.

Cyriel Dessers is enjoying a solid start to the season and was on target in both the previous Premiership fixture and the League Cup win. The Nigerian striker will be the one to watch for Rangers and is priced at 9/10 by Betfred to get on the score sheet.
Given Ross County’s attacking problems, Rangers will be targeting a shutout on Saturday. John Souttar and Robin Propper often partner in defence and should lead the hosts to a clean sheet at 9/10 with Betfred.

Eamonn Brophy was a second half substitute for Ross County in the League Cup and should return to partner Ronan Hale in attack. Akil Wright is expected to feature in defence while Scott Allardice should start in midfield.
