Portsmouth find themselves back at the foot of the EFL Championship table so they'll be looking to grab three precious points when Sheffield Wednesday come to Fratton Park.
It took Pompey 10 games to get their first win since returning to the second tier but it was a massive victory as they beat fellow strugglers QPR on the road.
But John Mousinho's men followed that up with a 2-0 loss to Cardiff City in Wales on Tuesday and with QPR claiming a point at home to Coventry it sent them back below the Hoops.
That has left them sitting two points adrift of safety so they need to bounce back with a positive result when Sheffield Wednesday come calling.
The Owls looked doomed after a dismal start last term but finished with a flourish under German boss Danny Rohl to stay in the Championship.
Sheffield Wednesday look to have enough quality to avoid a relegation dogfight and Tuesday's draw with Swansea has left them sitting in 17th place, four points ahead of Pompey.
But Rohl will be looking to push up the table and pile on the pain for Portsmouth with a defeat that keeps them in the drop zone.
