Norwich City host Millwall in a Friday night English Championship fixture as they go in search of their second win of the season.
Norwich are coming off their first league win of the season after beating Huddersfield Town 2-1 n their midweek fixture. A fast start saw them race to a two-goal lead through Josh Sargent and Daniel Sinani before the visitors pulled one back.
The Canaries were one of the early tips to battle for promotion and their poor start will be worrying. However, having finally got off the mark this season, manager Dean Smith will be keen to use that result as a springboard for the rest of their campaign.
Millwall have made a better start to the season than Norwich City and have suffered just one defeat in their opening four matches. Although it is still early days, they are currently challenging for a playoff spot and will be keen to maintain that level for the rest of the season.
The Lions travel to Norwich City off the back of a 2-2 draw in their midweek Championship fixture. They fell two goals behind early in the contest and looked to be on the verge of defeat before salvaging a point thanks to a couple of own goals from the Swansea.
Although they managed to fight back for a draw at Swansea, that result extends a recent poor record on the road for Millwall. Gary Rowett’s men are winless in their last eight Championship away matches, a run stretching back to last season.
