The 21-year-old playmaker has been particularly brilliant in recent weeks, scoring four goals and providing one assist in his last four appearances for the club. Everything that Kompany's side does well in the final third typically goes through him and that will be the case once again on Saturday afternoon.
If Mainz are to get anything from the game then they will need goalkeeper, Zentner, to get last week's nightmare out of his head. The 30-year-old conceded four goals from five shots on targets against Wolfsburg in a seven-goal thriller.
