Rangers finally decided to sack Phillipe Clement as manager on Sunday night, following their 0-2 loss at home to St Mirren on Saturday.
The Teddy Bears were swift in making an appointment, with it being announced on Monday lunchtime that legendary ex-captain Barry Ferguson is taking the reigns until the end of the season.
Rangers have won their last two away games at Hearts and Dundee United – both by a 1-3 scoreline – but before that had won just three of their past 11 (W3-D4-L4), highlighting their vulnerability on the road.
Kilmarnock also suffered defeat at the weekend, as they conceded in the last minute to lose 1-0 at Aberdeen, on an afternoon our man Mark landed a corners bet at Pittordrie.
Nevertheless, Derek McInnes will be happy to see his side be back on their plastic pitch, with Killie losing just two of their last 12 Premiership matches in front of their supporters, winning four of their past six (W4-D1-L1).

Rangers did get some sort of revenge, as they thrashed Kilmarnock 6-0 at Ibrox at the beginning of December.
Players to watch: Another Bobby Dazzler?
Young Scottish striker Bobby Wales has had a breakthrough year for Kilmarnock and comes into this match in good form, with the 19-year-old scoring three goals in his last five appearances.
Hamza Igamane has been one of the few shining lights for Rangers this season, but the Moroccan is without a goal in his last seven appearances for the club.

Kilmarnock will be without defender Stuart Findlay and club captain Kyle Vassell, whilst Kyle Magennis is back fit and available.

Those were the words of Barry Ferguson on Monday night in his first interview as interim manager of Rangers, but with just one training session to work with the players, it’ll be interesting to see if that will be the case at Kilmarnock on Wednesday night.
