However, Simone Inzaghi’s men are often unconvincing at the back and have kept just one clean sheet in their last five home matches across all competitions.
Roma picked up a 1-0 victory over Monza last tome out in the Serie A with Stephan El Shaarawy’s injury time effort proving the difference. They followed that up with a 2-0 victory over Slavia Prague in the Europa League with Edoardo Bove and Romelu Lukaku getting the goals.
Both results highlight Roma’s recent resurgence as they have now won their last five matches across all competitions. Sitting seventh on the Serie A standings, Jose Mourinho’s men will need to maintain that consistency if they are to challenge for a Champions League place.
Although things have been good for Roma lately, they have only claimed one win on their Serie A travels this season. However that win came in their previous fixture on the road as they eased to a 4-1 victory at Cagliari.
