Girona have been one of the surprise teams in La Liga this season and do not appear to be slowing down. They have already beaten Barcelona this season and can leapfrog their Catalan rivals by completing the double on Saturday.
A 2-0 at Las Palmas last time out was Girona’s third win in the last four matches. The Estadi Municipal de Montilivi has been a fortress for Michel’s men, who were beaten at home the likes of Atletico Madrid and Real Betis have failed at home.
