ENGLAND will be looking to put on a show in front of the Wembley crowd when they face Iceland in their final warm-up game before jetting out to Germany for Euro 2024.
Gareth Southgate's men are favourites with most firms to lift the trophy and patriotic bets from punters is probably the reason why they are above France in the betting.
But the Three Lions definitely have the talent to go all the way this summer and will feel this is their time after losing on penalties to Italy in the final of Euro 2020.
Southgate used Monday's friendly with Bosnia to give some fringe players the chance to impress but it wasn't really a convincing performance, even though England ended up easing to a 3-0 victory.
He should field a stronger side for the visit of Iceland and the English have some demons to banish after their infamous loss to the Vikings at Euro 2016.
Iceland aren't as strong eight years down the line though and have nothing to play for but pride at Wembley having failed to qualify for this summer's finals.
How the bookies view it: Snowball's chance in hell for Iceland
The bookies can't see Iceland shocking England again as Bet365 price them at 18/1 for a win. Even the draw is big at 7/1 and the odds on an English win are tiny at 1/8.
Recent head to head: Euros stunner a one-off
That 2-1 victory for Iceland at Euro 2016 was arguably the biggest win in their history but they've lost all three of their other meetings with England. It ended 4-0 to the Three Lions when Iceland last came to Wembley four years ago, although Birkir Saevarsson was sent off with the score at 2-0.
Players to watch: Fresh Foden can make an impact
Southgate rested Phil Foden on Monday but should start the Manchester City star against Iceland in the final game before the Euros. He netted twice in the last meeting of these sides and is 13/10 for anytime scorer.
Skipper Johann Berg Gudmundsson has a decent scoring record at international record, netting eight times from midfield. The Burley man is 14/1 to grab a goal at Wembley.
Probable line-ups
Southgate should name a team closer to his strongest line-up after experimenting against Bosnia. Iceland could give some fringe players a run out either in this game or their next friendly with the Dutch.
England: Pickford, Gomez, Stones, Guehi, Tripper, Rice, Mainoo, Bellingham, Foden, Saka, Kane.
Iceland: Valdimarsson, Thorarinsson, Karlsson, Ingason, Gretarsson, A Sigurdsson, J Gudmundsson, Haraldsson, Traustason, Anderson, Oskarsson.
Anything else catch the eye?
Slips Tips came up trumps by backing England for a win to nil on Monday but the odds aren't great for a repeat here at just 4/6. Another routine but unspectacular win looks the most likely outcome and backing an England victory with under 3.5 goals pays 11/10.
England struggled to carve out chances for their strikers against Bosnia so there could be some value in betting on under 9.5 shots on target in this game at evens.
With Southgate's big guns returning to the side England could make a strong start so betting on most goals coming in the first half could pay off at 15/8.
