RANGERS put their Europea exploits to one side and get back to domestic action with a Sunday clash against a Dundee side they walloped last week in the Scottish Cup.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side hectic schedule is about to get even tougher after they came through the challenge of Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League unscathed to make it through to the quarter-finals.
It's a hugely impressive achievement given the calibre of some of the teams there, but they will need to concentrate on facing a Dundee side who gave them few problems last week.
With manager Mark McGhee stuck with a combination of home fan unpopularity, dug-out bans and illness, it's hard to see Dundee improving any time soon and the best they can hope for this season is finishing above St Johnstone in the relegation dogfight and having to face a play-off.
McGhee has stated this game will have priority over last week's tame Scottish Cup defeat although it's hard to see where they are going to pick up their next points from.
And with Rangers arriving full of confidence on Tayside, it could be a long afternoon for the Dark Blues.
How the bookies view it
Rangers are emphatic favourites here at 3/10 with Coral. Dundee are 23/2 outsiders with SBK and that firm also has the best price for a draw at 23/5.
Recent head to heads
You don't have to go too far back for this – Rangers cruised to a 3-0 Scottish Cup win last week as can be seen below. They have also twice defeated Dundee this term in the league without conceding a goal.
Players to watch
Danny Mullen has scored twice against Celtic and once against Hearts this season so he has a knack for the big games. He is 9/2 with bet365 to net on Sunday.
Fashion Sakala came on and scored at Dens Park last week and given he was an unused sub in the Marakana in midweek, he may well get an opportunity here if Rangers rotate their squad. He is 13/10 with Paddy Power to score again in Dundee.
Anything else catch the eye?
Rangers should be tired after their Serbian exertions, but they have such a big squad with a sizeable gulf in class between the sides, that's it's hard to make a case for anything other than another Rangers romp here.
They wasted no time last week and the 17/20 for a Rangers half time and full time win here with McBookie.com has to be the shout. It's the same price of 17/20 with Unibet for Rangers to win minus a goal on the handicap and that should be backed too.
Finally, take a chance on Dundee's Max Anderson to be carded here. He loves a tackle and picked up four bookings in consecutive games this season. He's 7/4 to be cautioned at bet365.
